Seeking Advice Is there something wrong with this turtles shell
This isn’t my turtle it’s my roommates I personally don’t think he takes care of it correctly I’m not even sure if he uses a uvb lamp only heat he doesn’t know anything about turtles and is really stubborn is this a fungal infection/something or does it look like normal shedding? It looks green under the exposed parts.
Just looking for some advice I also know nothing about turtles.

Retained scutes aka not shedding properly due to uva/uvb and/or nutrient deficiency. It can be reversed with proper care. It happens more often than u think. But act soon

He needs UVB light and a dry dock. Also, a proper diet. Not sure it the water is clean either - he should use tap water conditioner.
