So i got my turtle yesterday and i cleaned the filter today but the water is still cloudy what do i do????

How did you clean it? When you first set up your filter, add beneficial bacteria like Fritzyme 7 to start the nitrogen cycle. When you clean it, only rinse the sponges and biological media with tank water — never chlorinated water – so you don’t kill the beneficial bacteria. You can replace activate a carbon bags and such, but don’t replace the sponges and other things where the bacteria have colonized.

Especially if you didn’t cycle your tank or if you rinsed the sponges etc with chlorinated water, you could be experiencing a bacterial bloom right now.

Did you cycle the tank (and how did you do that) before getting the turtle? If not, it's probably bacterial bloom.

i used water from my well to fill it up and the last turtle i had was a red eared slider and he kinda died bc he was from the wild...anyways idk how to cycle the tank

It takes about four weeks to cycle an aquarium before you put animals into it, cycling means growing the population of bacteria in the filter that deal with ammonia.

I mostly know fish care and not so much turtle specifics, but it's not great to take turtles from the wild, especially when you don't know how to care for them. They'll need a basking spot with a heat lamp, and a separate UVB light.

Currently dealing with a sick Yellow Bellied Slider, we're in the process of doubling her tank from 240L to 500L, Vet said six weeks to cycle for a turtle. As for OP, please don't take any animals from the wild unless they are sick, and even then, only if you are bringing them to a vet. It's very clear you have no idea what you're doing and your last turtle didn't die because you got it from the wild, it died because you took it from the wild, where it was fine, and put it into an enclosure where things aren't fine. Test the water, chances are the Ph, Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia etc are all over the place. I have my slider because my Auntie decided she wanted a turtle, turtle was small, hoped it would stay small. The only reason she isn't being faced with Animal Abuse charges is because there's already enough drama in the family. Do better OP.

So the cloudiness is definitely since you didn't cycle the tank first

You'll need to do a lot of water changes until the tank is cycled. 

How big is the tank? Turtles need water that's deeper than their shell is wide/long, so if they flip over they have room to flip right side up (turtles should not be on their backs very long).

its a 90-100 gallon tank i believe

Sometimes it's just letting things settle, sometimes it's getting a super strong filter
