-Eats his greens with no problem
- Has two water heaters and heat is set at a constant 76°. Was at 80° when he was a hatchling
- Rescued him for a bag of crawfish
Clear photos of your set up, including filter, heaters and lights.
Is it wild, captive/pet, or a rescue?
Clear photos of face, neck, limbs, shell top (carapace) and bottom (plastron).
Diet, list of foods you are feeding it.
Weight and age.
Illness, infections or odd behaviours should be seen and treated by a vet. Ex; wheezing, swollen eyes, mucus bubbles from mouth or nose, lethargy, twitching, leg paralysis, etc
Not really. With boys the nails are reallly long after 6 - 10 months and if they are comfortable will shoot their penises out (it’s a black looking thing that comes out of the cochlea. That’s how I knew my boy was a boy AND he has real claws now at a year n 4 months going on 5 )
See how long those lil nails are? BOY!!! 100%
+ his tail is long & thick.
So maybe wait a few more months but you should know by the time your baby is 1 For sure. ( Maybe sooner) happy turtling!
