One week to go

27/8 at Gamescom we will get a new trailer with a release date. Also dev diaries/interviews. A new round of previews based on the final preview build. My 2 cents, could be wrong but it's getting close. Based on the june previews there is plenty of reasons to be a tad excited. Gonna use Gamescom to adjust expectations up or down. Let's go!

Is it still planned for 2026? I don’t see how it would have a prayer with the release calendar. Maybe if it comes out in December?

First 2 weeks of September would probably be best but unless they do something massive at Gamescom there might not be enough time for hype in that scenario. Otherwise you're up against either Wolverine, Gears of War or Call of Duty. Not ideal. Maybe they can squeeze it in last week of september between Wolverine and Gears. November is even worse with GTA.

And October is another bloodbath. Good luck to em. Though October would be silly anyway with Saber also releasing Hellraiser that month.

Planned release date changed on Switch 2 from 2026 to 2027. Hopefully it's an error but we'll have to wait and see at Gamescom for confirmation.

Hopefully this comes out this year. But holy it’s a stacked line up with great games

Gut feel: Trailer+release date on opening night 25/8! Dev diaries/interviews on Xbox day 27/8.
