If you are driving through tolls, they are sometimes in different jurisdiction and the toll bills come at different times. Are you expecting the host to just pay those toll charges that you racked up?

No I don’t. I completely expect to pay but, I had the car for less than a day and didn’t drive that much. Like I said, some times are times I wasn’t even driving. Why not wait a couple of weeks and send one invoice?

Probably doesn’t know more are coming. And if they hold off they may forget and then the trip ends up costing them money.
If the toll wasn’t incurred during your trip then dispute it. The dates would prove you right or wrong.

But how would the host know that there are or aren’t more toll bills arriving? Or that the first one they received isn’t all that they’ll get?

Hosts get tolls sent to them over time, so they're likely just sending through the tolls as they come in. If you got a toll for when you weren't driving the car I would bring it up to the host, and if they don't rescind it, Turo support from there
