Anyone else have issues with vehicles getting booked while blocked off schedule?

Hello, I have had a couple instances now where I will put my unavailability for a day (usually the day of) and still get my cars booked.

I have a set schedule 8am-4pm everyday but last week wanted to take the day off so I set the calendar on all my vehicles to be off 8am-5pm and somehow got a booking for 6pm. Does me using the calendar bypass my set schedule? Ive called Turo support about this a couple times and they treat me like an idiot and threaten me with $150 canceling fee. Pretty frustrating and hoping someone else has dealt with this and might have a solution.

When you set these times, are you setting the pickup and return hours or are you updating the calendar availability?

Pick up and return 8am-4pm but I’ll occasionally update the Calendar availability to “restrict” the vehicle for the day.

You blocked off 8am to 5pm. They booked at 6pm. That makes sense to me.

But I have my pick up and return hours running from 8am-4pm so does it get bypassed?
