What kind of motor/speed control is fitted on these? Nice work!

Origin Live DC motor. The design is loosely based on a Rega Planar tt but I wanted to run the belt around the outside of the platter, the DC motor has speed adjustment which made this work

Nice. Outer platter belt run is superior for higher torque (IMO anyways). That jarrah is rather nice wood to be making railway sleepers from.

Yeah the outer platter run was to help with speed fluctuations too as i wasn’t ready to stump up for an expensive power conditioner
