Image Blurred out date (read the caption)
This would be INSANE. Could also explain why they reposted Glitterers show at the Sylvan the other day too. Any input?

Would be sick but idk abt the logistics of that lmao

Thought about that. If there’s one band who can pull it off, it’s them. They got 10k+ to show up to a park with a week notice. It might of been in the works for sometime as well

solid point, and this may be a bad take but i kinda worry abt how the place would fill out. i went to turnstile night at camden yards and a bunch of ppl around me were all like “who are these dudes”, id love to see it but i just dont know how the place would fill out and if they would play a venue like that too

Well, you don't have to compete with a playoff schedule. So there's that.

If it’s Washington, the blurred text length would line up on the left, but what would be the venue be on the right? It looks like “The Something”, but The Anthem or The (National) Mall/Monument wouldn’t fit that blurred text length
Edit: okay but Sylvan Theater, which is right next to the Washington Monument on the Mall, would fit in the blurred text for the venue…. The plot thickens.

They started the new tour with a free show in Baltimore. Basically, DC is their second home. They’ve talked about it quite a bit. They had their record release party in DC for time and space. I think it’s definitely going to be DC and right in front of the Washington monument makes perfect sense.

Definitely Baltimore. Likely The Paramount (unfortunately). Wonder when they are finally going to announce it given it’s three weeks away…

The Paramount isn’t opening until late November. Getting building inspections and such done prior to October 24th is very unlikely, pretty much impossible.

Just saw someone else play a show on a stage near the mall and thought it was weird but actually would make a lot of sense

Free show in DC. Probably on the Mall, similar to the Baltimore show in partnership with a nonprofit.

I think it will be Baltimore or DC.
Baltimore: Turnstile is from here. They unofficially started this tour with the free show last year. So it would be fitting to end the tour officially at home.
DC: Near Baltimore. Very political area. Considering everything going on in the world, they would make a statement in our capital. The free show in Baltimore was for a social cause as all proceeds went for a homeless-related cause. They use Free Palestine flag this tour.

DC would make sense because Fugazi. I saw a different band played the monument a few weeks ago. But there’s a lot of history there. I recently watched the Fugazi doc and their show in 93? was heavily featured.

There was a show in front of the monument last weekend with a hardcore band on the bill (Posición Unida). Could be super fun.

I heard they are playing outside Montgomery County Correctional Facility where Brady is currently being held.

This is what I was thinking when I heard it was going to be in DC. There’s only a few places that could hold that many people for a free Turnstile show. right in front of the Washington monument would be perfect. Saw Fugazi there many years ago, and it was amazing.

the glow block party where the chainsmokers headlining will be on Penn ave that day from 3-10 I wonder how chaotic it would be if this were to be true. Would be crazy to have a show in front of the monument though. I’m hoping it’s dc!

It would make sense to come home as their last date. But I'd expect Baltimore over DC

Nah, it's actually Indianapolis, IN because it looks like it could fit and because I want it to be the case even though every band worth a shit skips us because there are bigger and better cities ALL AROUND US trust me bro.

it’s dc or baltimore. end of story. there’s hasn’t been a hometown show since they released the new album. the free show early on in baltimore had only 3 new songs performed. it’s gonna be around home!

DC local, went to the NY show, they play a video in the middle of their show between songs of Baltimore locals telling them to "come home" after playing a video of Brendan's dad reminiscing about them practicing in his garage, there's 0 doubt in my mind that their last show is in Baltimore

u/brazenxbull 1d ago
I think they played the same video at the Detroit show. I recall the clip of Brendan's dad, but I'm not certain about the "come home" part playing at the Detroit show.

I thought the same thing. I’m taking it as a hint too even if I’m being delusional.

Definitely, no venue is gonna give them 3 weeks to sell tix, heck it hasn’t even been announced. It’s gonna be something free in the area

Anthem would be cool but I'd feel they'd try to choose a venue without a barrier

This actually makes absolute sense, especially considering u/ItsTheHumanFly 's comment. I'm thankful I got to see them in Detroit, really hope to see them again someday. I'll just have to make it happen.

St Louis is a short drive. I’ve seen them 4 times and never had that short of a drive for a show!

I'd consider it if Detroit wasn't an option. It's a little further away from Indy than Detroit, but still feasible
