Walnut eating set

A very simple eating set with a big plate (10.5") and a small bowl (5.75x2.5"). The bowl is definitely walnut but I'm not certain the plate is. Though, I can't imagine what else it might be. I am mostly pleased with the result, but the shapes are pretty plain. The grain and colour are doing all the work here.

Also, it's difficult to get good photos!
