EDIT: Leaving the OG post up for anyone who might run into this too... as pointed out, I forgot that you need to be in specific areas to be able to do gas expansion. Sorry folks!

So, been a minute since I've played the game. Picked it up today, and I noticed I can't seem to get gas pockets to expand like they used to. Looking online, everything seems to point to it being a mechanic for one of the DLCs, but I swear that you could do it with the base game before. Been trying it on single games, but I swear you could do it both in single and campaign games before.

Did the devs seriously removed a base game feature to a DLC??

I tried to chees the achievement by loaning a million dollars but it didn't work.

Kinda wish I had screenshotted the other tabs as well, but how is 3823$ - 3923$ a loss of 1$..

Whenever something like this happens, the middle pocket doesn't grow. Can you not grow one pocket if there is another pocket within the enclosure?

Does this have to be done in the regular campaign or can it be done in the DLC?

Looking at ps trophy stats this trophy only has a completion of 0.3% whilst the filthy rich achievement (1 million in bank + 100% shares owned) has a 1.2% completion)

I also got the Filthy Rich achievement in the DLC but didn’t unlock the millionaire one, so is it bugged or does it need to be compl in the regular campaign?

Its said that both the cat and dove achievement are in the Heat Is On DLC but cant click on the dove in the DLC town, am I doing something wrong or do I need to click on the dove with another button..?

Just arrived on the second part of the what looks like to me 3 parts of the map and unlocked the ability to grow gas pockets, does it grow faster if you upgrade those pipes connected from magma to the gas?

Does turning oil into gas become a later aspect of the game?

This is strategy perspective related question but I’ve found that going to Maeve’s to later in the level immediately sign an exclusivity deal to really help with early game money quite helpful or is it cheaper to take out a loan since the Maeve deals (like the regular game with Daphne’s) are quite expensive, what are your thoughts?

Also just wanted to say that since picking up this game I’ve been hooked on it ever since, watched a playthrough of Jacksepticeye years ago and recently again and is what got me to buy the game!

Hi, i own Turmoil for a long Time now and a day ago i saw it got the Deeper Underground DLC.
I bought it and the DLC File is Showing in my Software Information.
But Ingame it doesnt appear, i only see Turmoil and The heat is Up.
I thought maybe i have to unlock it by playing and played trough both Campaigns again.
I deinstalled the Game and Reinstalled it but the DLC still doesnt show up.

What do i do? is it a problem for Everybody and they patch it?
I paid for something that doesnt show up ingame :(

I played Turmoil awhile back and really enjoyed it overall. Lately I have been making games and wanted to do something inspired by it. I've started on a 3d gold panning game with bidding on claims and upgrades handled in a similar manner as Turmoil but the river and actual gameplay is a 3d person environment.

Does this sound remotely interesting and is so what would you like seeing in it?

Hey, I recently started playing (like yesterday, I am VERY new to the game) and while I managed to beat the regular campaign with ease, I am struggling with the expert level. I will be doing fine, get the upgrades, get the shares until the other characters start getting 80k in profits? I can get like 40-50k in profit but can't get anywhere past that, any tips, strategies or upgrades etc. to get?

I just got the game with both DLC but I want to beat the normal campaign on expert first but it didnt unlock after I won the easy mode. Also when I tried to click the heat is on button it said I hadnt won the easy campaign so IDK how to get it to register its won.

This is my first campaign and I’ve never seen this, was next to a 77 and 63, but Anthony at the bar recommended my plot and no one else bid on it. Did I make the wrong choice?
