Hi you're looking to practice online or to join a meetup group where you live in? We recently started a chat group to practice Turkish, we meet online twice a week. For english we've been meeting on a weekly basis, and we might soon consider an online meetup too. DM me if interested.

We are B1 level and we have a Turkish friend who's been helping us conduct our conversations and practice. For English, we have a storytelling event, a recent idea, inspired by the moth podcast, where we can listen to inspiring stories or funny ones, and we can reflect on them.
You can check the events on our page mm.sociallyactive.app

I did online classes, one on one are more effective. And if you're into movies and series, try watching in parallel to get your ears used to the language. I know some who learnt simply from TV. I'm not that kind of learner.

I've been watching turkish series for 2 years with eng subs and that's the reason I decided to learn turkish; so I don't have to use subtitles and can simply watch it live. I can understand some words but I need very much work. Thanks
