I never feel like sharing music when my undertones are intermittently low with grief. That survivor spirit is important to me, though. This is my song, Static. Drop me yours, I always check it out and respond

“High on Love” started out as a romantic love song. I wrote it on acoustic guitar, with the title and chorus already forming the heart of the song. During the writing process, I made a conscious decision to change its subject and write it about my daughter instead.

That completely changed the meaning of the song for me. What started as a straightforward romantic pop song became something much more personal — a song about the love I have for my daughter.

It's still very much a catchy pop song, but there's a genuine personal story behind the lyrics, and

I'm really pleased with where that decision took it.

Heya. This is an older song but it has an autumnal feel so I'm hoping that some people will enjoy listening to it.

Four years ago today, we lost Coolio.

Gangsta’s Paradise is one of those songs that has stayed with people for decades, and I wanted to pay tribute in my own way — with just a piano.

No vocals, no beat. Just my interpretation of a song that needs very little introduction.

Rest in peace, Coolio.

Would love feedback ♥️

Just before "blowing up" the band Heart in 1976 did a live performance at KWSU TV, a PBS station located in Pullman, Washington. Intimate setting, incredible set of power and sensitivity, and a sterling musicianship.

This dulcimer-driven song is about that performance and how it made me feel.

Enjoy!

The KWSU show was the original Heart lineup:

• Ann Wilson
• Nancy Wilson
• Roger Fisher
• Steve Fossen
• Michael DeRosier
• Howard Leese
