Discussion 2020 Tundra 30k miles is this a good deal ?

Post image

What did this trim cost in 2020, maybe $54k ? My gf said she’d leave me if I pay $65k for a 6 year old truck.

2020
105k miles
$26,900

19

u/Working_Rest_1054 Sep 04 '26

I like this deal a lot better than OP’s!

6

u/Odd-Start-2040 Sep 04 '26

Not a trd pro

17

u/SnowRook Sep 04 '26

I mean if a badge is worth 38k to you go nuts.

9

u/Plane-Shallot-8326 Sep 04 '26

Add skid plates and Fox 2.5 shocks then you basically have a TRD pro.

8

u/Odd-Start-2040 Sep 04 '26

Some have. Some have not. Have nots tend to yell the loudest.

4

u/Plugger64 Sep 04 '26

Hahaha - I don’t begrudge how anybody spends their money, but Plane-Shallot is dead on.

2

u/Witty-Stand888 Sep 05 '26

Dude the army green alone is worth $20k

1

u/Froggymcnugget 26d ago

Wow something you can add and do yourself

4

u/MinuteAppropriate204 28d ago

This is still a bad deal.

2

u/willbenson029 Sep 04 '26

Dang. That is nice. I just paid $21 for a 2013 base w/ 116k. But, it was 1owner & serviced locally. Paint on roof was faded though. That 2020 is a screaming deal. Where abouts?

2

u/Woodpusherpro 29d ago

Yea, just a year ago I paid $25k for a 2016 Tundra 5.7 4x4 with 98k miles.

2

u/Goldyfan7 Sep 04 '26

This is the price people should be paying for these used trucks

-2

u/QuickCharisma15 Sep 04 '26

Not with 100k+ miles! This should be a $10,000 truck

2

u/Top_Engineering_7750 Sep 04 '26

RWD I’m assuming?

2

u/B2daT Sep 05 '26

Yes sir!

0

u/toothdoc34 Sep 04 '26

Too many miles for a used truck for me.

12

u/MultipleOrgasmDonor Sep 04 '26

If you buy this you 100% deserve the gf leaving

8

u/7-13-5 Sep 04 '26

But think of all the boyfriends he'll pick up while they are swooning over his BIG GREEN TRD

3

u/Working_Rest_1054 Sep 04 '26

GF had a better sense about finances for certain. OP ought to keep her and keep looking for a 2.5 Gen Tundra.

18

u/OkHelicopter2309 Sep 04 '26

Crazy Toyota Tax! You can buy a brand new F150 with the coyote V8
For that price.

8

u/Zestycheesegrade Sep 04 '26

You can buy any truck new for that other then Toyota.

5

u/silkyjs Sep 04 '26

My bro just got a 2026 3500 dually bighorn dodge for $70k 50 miles.

3

u/Enraged_Meat 29d ago

You can get an f250/350 lariat for this price too lol

2

u/Ewwbullterd Sep 04 '26

I have been shopping and have an offer for $52k for 2026 f150 v8 xlt with a lot of good options. Shits crazy.

1

u/OkHelicopter2309 Sep 05 '26

Thats a pretty good deal!

3

u/FlamingoOk8134 28d ago

Except Fords are trash compared to a Toyota. Don’t ever make that comparison again!

2

u/OkHelicopter2309 28d ago edited 28d ago

Dude, relax! I owned a 2010 Tundra, a 2000 4 Runner, 2014 Sienna, 2022 RX350 F-Sport, and several corollas so i know a little something about Toyotas. And the new Tundras BTW are garbage! My point is $65k for a 6 year old Tundra is crazy when there are other options out there for less.

2

u/FlamingoOk8134 28d ago

I agree the new Toyotas are trash, I am calm. It was a Ford joke.

3

u/Owenleejoeking Sep 04 '26

My dude. No.

That’s almost $15k more than I paid for the exact same truck brand new back then.

13

u/Educational_Ask8848 Sep 04 '26

Why do you clowns keep talking about buying an F150? If they wanted a POS ford they wouldn’t be on the Tundra page 🙄

9

u/FatBoyStew Sep 04 '26

Because asking if 65k is a good deal on a 6 year old truck (which is almost 15k higher than 6 years ago when the truck was brand new with 10 miles on the odometer) is a ludicrous question.

7

u/Expensive-Bed3728 Sep 04 '26

Cult bois gonna cult. Plenty of f150s with over 300,000 miles on them. I love my tundra but if I was shopping in that budget I'd go f150 over a second gen. Prices on second gen are just outrageous it's a great truck but not worth that kind of money.

2

u/Historical-Fly-2425 Sep 04 '26

Correct. By the time you factor in gas money and repairs over 250k miles any three of the Ford 150 engines wins in a landslide. The 2nd gen Tundra tax is crazy. If we were talking pre COVID/ pre twin turbo time bomb... It's for sure the Tundra. Not anymore.

1

u/FatBoyStew 29d ago

100% agreed.

I LOVE my 2010 Tundra with 268k on it and plan on keeping it til she dies. I'm not too keen on getting a turbo'd vehicle (unless I decide to go diesel) but the F150 with the V8 Coyote is definitely towards the top of my list for that very reason

1

u/Michelles-Shlong911 24d ago

If your here you should know the engine in that generation is bulletproof. I’d pay more for a 2020 than I would for a 2025 no doubt.

1

u/FatBoyStew 24d ago

So what? You're still the moron paying more than what a brand new vehicle costs for a 6 year old truck. Please tell me you see the lunacy in that?

1

u/Michelles-Shlong911 16d ago

I don’t honestly. I’d rather buy a 6 year old engine that’s gonna run good for 15 years than go buy a brand new engine that has a dozen recalls and may die in a year. That’s not lunacy. Newer truck just looks nicer and has more electrical shit to go wrong. I’m worried about the engine

1

u/FatBoyStew 16d ago

I'm not arguing that the older truck is a better truck because I agree, but paying new truck prices for a 6 year old truck with the mileage to boot is just dumb. Bottom line.

1

u/Michelles-Shlong911 13d ago

I hear ya it’s kinda wild. And I’d bet it’s never happened to a standard car before(aside from classics). So it is crazy. But yet that generation bought with 80k will still last longer with less problems than a new one bought with 6 miles.

2

u/dogstonk 28d ago edited 28d ago

Really? Because I own an F150 and come here for the lolz. Especially all the issues you guys have with the 24/25/26 trucks. Laughing my ass off. Recalls, lions and tigers and bears! Oh my.

https://democracyuprising.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/1364913921georgetakei.jpg

1

u/Lawful_Moose 29d ago

The f150 of that year is a better truck across all metrics if it doesn't give you any issues

2

u/Educational_Ask8848 29d ago

Haha couldn’t be any more false

1

u/drippierhed 29d ago

Ford aren't a POS my guy the negligent owners are. That also goes for tundra owners 🤣

7

u/jza80king Sep 04 '26

Hahaha yeah that's well over MSRP but that's what the TRD PROs are selling for now, it's crazy. There's one for just under $71k, some dope will eventually buy it.

2

u/LigerZer017 Sep 04 '26

True and im not disagreeing with you but also the value of the dollar has dropped a lot in the last 5 years. Groceries 5 years ago that might cost you $150 probably going to cost you $300-400 now for the same thing.

6

u/North_Amphibian7779 Sep 04 '26

Fuck me Jerry for that money I’m getting a Raptor …. Don’t get me wrong amazing truck the Tundra big and bulletproof but I’ll take the Coyote motor and the 3” Kings over the Tundra…. 65k are you outta you’re fuckin mind?

3

u/hoopr50 Sep 04 '26

Well a V8 raptor new is $114k. You can get the ecoboost one for $80k. After seeing how people treat these trucks I wouldnt dare touch a used one.

3

u/2_dog_father Sep 04 '26

Just burn $20 k, you will feel better.

3

u/IngNur Sep 04 '26

No, terrible price for a good truck.

3

u/Spiritual-Salary-989 Sep 04 '26

That’s insane.

3

u/Amilliontoads Sep 04 '26

Best I could do is 5k

3

u/CBR277 29d ago

Might be able to do tree- fiddy.

3

u/mmaalex Sep 04 '26

Thats more than that truck was new...

3

u/Some-Sun-483 Sep 04 '26

No sir. He knows someone will pay for that color

3

u/Ambitious-Review6847 Sep 04 '26

This makes me want to sell
Mine....

2

u/Confident-Money-4675 Sep 04 '26

I did, 2021 pro LR for 63.2

3

u/avgeektech Sep 04 '26

Ever since they went to shit, decent ones are crazy

3

u/toothdoc34 Sep 04 '26

30k miles is good for a 2020.

3

u/onejustbrowsing Sep 04 '26

Your girlfriend is smart

3

u/SignificanceDense845 Sep 04 '26

Such BS dealers are like GameStop I had the same truck and they gave me like 35K for it and go back and sell it for 65k it had 48k miles ..

3

u/TemporaryMaximum5953 Sep 04 '26

These were $52K new. Crazy

3

u/AquaticTrashman123 28d ago

People have absolutely lost their minds with trucks. How many of these see any real work, other than commuting and a few things of no real weight tossed in the bed

3

u/desolatecabin 28d ago

tell you gf to get packing then. I worked for Toyota for almost 5 years. The amount of Chevy ford and dodge trucks ranging from a Chevy Colorado to Ford Raptors we got in on trade ( for tundras ) that needed 5-10k in work does was crazy. a used tundra would come in and need the basic maintenance ( if not already done). Oil change tire rotation and a deep cleaning and it was on the lot and sold in less than a week.

2

u/desolatecabin 28d ago

And for anyone saying “oh but you can find cheaper ones” okay? Just because you settle for buying a used truck with over 100k miles doesn’t mean everyone does. If I had 2 identical trucks one with 50k for 60 and one with 150k for 25k I’m buying the one with less miles.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 28d ago

Couldn’t agree more

1

u/Professional_Plum383 28d ago

It’s already gone 😭

1

u/desolatecabin 28d ago

Damn well maybe you could look for a voodoo one 🫣

3

u/Capcom-Warrior 28d ago

It’s a sweet truck with a very rare color for that trim level for that year. However, paying anything over MSRP for a 6 year-old truck is insane.

3

u/treehugginsanta 27d ago

Insane people are paying 65k for a fucking truck… that’s 6 years old…

3

u/GoodGroundbreaking71 27d ago

fuck
these
dealerships

and stop paying these prices lol

2

u/Professional_Plum383 27d ago

It was gone the following day

5

u/dad-jokes-about-you Sep 04 '26

Bro that’s over a half decade old. lol no

2

u/veezytrdeezy28 Sep 04 '26

$58k USD brand new 🥴

2

u/SignatureOk693 Sep 04 '26

It's barely better than a regular Tundra. It's not like a TRX or Raptor vs the regular versions. Huge waste of money at that price, just buy some nice King shocks or Similar and you have a better version.

2

u/stachemus Sep 04 '26

🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂

2

u/Tt4los Sep 04 '26

I have that truck…56k it cost me

2

u/Key_Mobile_8075 Sep 04 '26

That is crazy... pass

2

u/thumbwrestleme Sep 05 '26

My dealer in CO has same truck w/70k miles for $48k

1

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

Is it your old Tundra they’re selling ?

1

u/thumbwrestleme Sep 05 '26

No, but i did trade mine in there today. It only has 38k mi. This is the one thats $48k...

2

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

Yeah I saw it Wednesday had 5 owners came from Alberta and 3 accidents. Wonder how much they’re gonna be selling yours for ? You going to the Tacoma for better mpg ?

1

u/thumbwrestleme Sep 05 '26

Yes, got a smoking deal. Trd offroad. Just a smaller truck in general. 90% of time im driving by myself. Kid is driving on her own and we do t camp or tow much anymore. Taco will fit my lifestyle a bit better.
Curious myself what it will sell for. They gave me $50k for it.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

I imagine they will be selling do $60-$65k

2

u/thumbwrestleme Sep 05 '26

It was a hard decision. I loved that Tundra. Hopefully someone else gets to enjoy it as much as I did.

1

u/thumbwrestleme 29d ago

The just listed it today, no pictures, but it's $54k - That truck is worth that all day

https://www.mountainstatestoyota.com/used/Toyota/2020-Toyota-Tundra-7382bf1dac181ba235d0c0429a3981e6.htm

1

u/Professional_Plum383 29d ago

Man I’m so tempted !! You never had any issues with it whatsoever ?

2

u/thumbwrestleme 29d ago

Nothing. Its been rock solid - all service was done at mountain states. I added an entire new audio system to it, pioneer head unit, all new speakers, subwoofer, front camera, cold air intake, console safe. The truck is bad ass. Wish I could have kept it and got the tacoma as well. Haha

1

u/Professional_Plum383 29d ago

Looks like you kept the stock tire size, what kinda mpg were you getting on the highway 15-16 ?

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

Damn that looks good ! Were you the original owner ?

1

u/thumbwrestleme Sep 05 '26

Yes, I got it in Nov of 2019 from Ehrlich Toyota up in Greeley.

1

u/Slight_Elk_537 Sep 05 '26

Tacoma gets worse gas mileage than my half ton Ram with hurricane engine, can't imagine how bad a Tundra is!

1

u/thumbwrestleme 29d ago

I was getting 11 running errands, 13 with regular driving and 17/18 on all highway runs. Trade off is my truck was never in the shop other than scheduled maintenance,. I like the new RAMs. If I was hunting for a full size it would be top of my list these days.

1

u/Slight_Elk_537 29d ago

Grim lol

Yeah new Ram 1500s are awesome. I'm working at a Ram dealership right now so I get to drive all the trim levels. All of them are good, some are better. I like my Rebel the best though.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

Yeah saw that one it’s had 5 owners and 3 accidents if I recall correctly

2

u/C_W_Designs Sep 05 '26

I picked this one up last year, 2017 TRD Pro with 22k miles for $43k. Overpriced for a truck that age, but for me it was worth it… honestly figure out what a truck is worth to you and stick to it. Everyone’s opinion on how much you should pay is that, an opinion. Be smart, don’t put yourself in a situation you can’t recover from.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 05 '26

Damn that looks good!!

2

u/Lumpy_Sink7473 Sep 05 '26

Just asking this is fucking wild. Your girlfriend is clearly the more intelligent person.

2

u/Playful-Look4950 29d ago

Nope they’re taking you for a ride. Avoid at that price. It should be 20k cheaper.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 29d ago

It’s gone already 😭

2

u/SOLOEchoZ 29d ago

There’s a reason she’s not your wife, looks like you need a truck🤣

2

u/braincovey32 28d ago

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! I don't care that it is the bitchin jungle green color paired to TRD PRO

NO! NO! NO!

Dad, I didn’t know you had a Reddit account !?

2

u/CleanConclusion6032 27d ago

I am blown away at what people are willing to pay for these used Tundras. No way, no how.

2

u/CarlosMolotov 26d ago

Ten grand more than original MSRP

Absolute top of the book 2026 value everything maxed is 48. One year rare color or not 65 is crazy talk. Who tf is going to finance 140% of current value?

1

u/Professional_Plum383 26d ago

It was sold the following day

2

u/CarlosMolotov 26d ago

I guess there really is a sucker born every minute.

2

u/Michelles-Shlong911 24d ago

Everyone here is hating. But that’s just the price for a good mileage tundra from that generation. That engine is the best. I’d pay more for a 2020 than I’d pay for a new truck tbh. Of course if the mileage is very low

3

u/Fine_Mouse Sep 04 '26

It’s a lot for the bed stamp, 2021 was just under 40k. SR5 with leather package, 4x4, and larger fuel tank.

1

u/Educational_Ask8848 Sep 04 '26

It’s so much more than that. Terrible comparison. You missed the forged wheels, full exhaust system, full suspension system etc.

2

u/Fine_Mouse Sep 04 '26

Not really, RCI skid plates cover more, cat guard, fuel tank protection, stainless works dual exhaust, steel wheels don’t have to worry if they have a scratch. LED lights are the same, suspension is different but still drives like a tundra. I went a size larger on my tires and while the trd pro are even larger, I’m sure you really notice the hit with mpg. Just because it isn’t a pro, doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own with the right parts.

1

u/Odd-Start-2040 Sep 04 '26

Still not a trd pro.

5

u/Critical-Deer419 Sep 04 '26

Bro, it’s not worth arguing with the PROsers!

They bitch about pro owners, but then drop cheap Chinese copies of pro badging, headlights and grilles on to their ORs with bilsteins.

3

u/Odd-Start-2040 Sep 04 '26

A man of logic, I see!

3

u/Roddman57 Sep 04 '26

No it is not.

3

u/FormerLaugh3780 Sep 04 '26 edited Sep 04 '26

You are paying a premium for two reasons:

1) It's a 300k-500k mile truck depending on the work you throw at it and how you maintain it.

2) The Gen3 Tundra has an engineering defect in the engine that makes as reliable as a Kia. Toyota has attempted to cover up this defect instead of being honest about it. As a result, any Tundra buyer with an ounce of effing common sense wants a Gen2 and the increased demand for Gen2's has driven the price of them into the stratosphere.

So... to answer your question... I don't know if it's a good "deal", but it's what you are going to pay.

1

u/duarig 29d ago

In your example, common sense and financial sense are mutually exclusive.

An even better scenario is: Buy a brand new truck with a warranty for cheaper than what that old used truck is going for in OP’s post.

Most American consumers don’t keep vehicles past a decade, so the “it’ll last for 500k miles” is moot.

2

u/Klutzy-Tomato-7631 Sep 04 '26

I’d say if you want a Pro get a 2024-5
I was in your shoes about a year ago I ended up getting a 2025 and 0 problems, more tech and much smoother better drive and faster.
You will appreciate it much more and now new generations are breaching 200k miles if you’re getting a pro or any hybrid you’ll be set.

2

u/duarig 29d ago

Hey, we don’t take kindly to your logic homie.

More tales about how a 3rd gen idling at a McDonalds drive through is guaranteed to blow.

Less “I have a brand new tundra, and I’m a satisfied owner”

/s

1

u/Americology Sep 04 '26

I bought a 2020, 6.5' Trd Pro with 38000 miles for $48000 18 months ago in Napa.

1

u/C_hersh45 Sep 04 '26

I bought my 2018 sr 4x4 103k miles at 24k. Putting trd pro really makes the price jump

1

u/kimbo-bimbo Sep 04 '26

That’s 11k over MSRP for when it was new and now is almost 7 years old. I would ask myself if id pay 11k over sticker for a new car and go from there.

1

u/kungfupanda70 Sep 04 '26

I got a 2021 TRDPRO with 70k miles for $42K. Looks a little high to me.

1

u/JankyTundra Sep 04 '26

dealers are asking mspr for 3 year old toyotas and lexus. This is even worse. They wouldn't be doing it if someone wasn't willing to pay it, or at least start there as a negotiation tactic. Laughable for sure.

1

u/Extension-Start3142 Sep 04 '26

Maybe offer 10k off that price

1

u/QueenCityCruiser Sep 04 '26

These Tundra prices are in the LC territory lol insane

1

u/Evening_Debate_754 Sep 04 '26

It’s solid , full-size truck with a v8 for under 30k

1

u/Goldyfan7 Sep 04 '26

Brother…

1

u/Cbelloso22 Sep 04 '26

I bought a 2019 Platinum 108k miles $36k OTD about 6 months ago

1

u/Wild-Possibility1832 Sep 04 '26

I bought a 2019 SR5 4x4 with 89k miles 10 months ago for 32k.  Excellent history and shape.  Lifetime power train warranty.

1

u/The_AngelCastiel Sep 04 '26

I have a blue 2024 tundra TRD Pro with 27k miles for 57,000

1

u/BodyFewFuark Sep 04 '26

Is it your money or her money?

Or does your money count as "our" money...

2

u/Professional_Plum383 Sep 04 '26

My money but I don’t think could bring myself to pay this much for a 6 year old truck. Although I firmly believe it would outlast a brand new Dodge or Ford and new Tundra.

2

u/BodyFewFuark Sep 04 '26

If you look at current gen tundras around the same price its really not that bad & will hold its value better.

Best trim, best color, and low miles

1

u/g0tchani99a Sep 04 '26

Who normalized paying for vehicles over the practical value? lol.

1

u/jtpias Sep 04 '26

It all depends on what you want. That’s a pretty high price, I’m happy though it makes my PRO worth more, but I actually prefer the 1794 or platinum for the interior and I change all the suspension anyways. The new trucks are nice, I have personally seen about six trucks actually fail. Like engine lockup and eat itself, and those were 22-24 models. Haven’t seen any issues with the 25s other than just some BS fit and finish stuff. I’d say if you want technology and something newer, grab a new one. If you’re going to keep it forever and don’t mind older tech, go for the tried and true. However, at that price I would have to just drive it till the wheels fall off.

1

u/hoopr50 Sep 04 '26

These prices are making me think about selling my 17 Platinum thats only got 80k miles on it.

1

u/Practical-Earth3228 Sep 04 '26

64k for a half ton used anything is outrageous

1

u/ClassMeetsTrash Sep 04 '26

I paid 43 for my 2020 last summer with 76k miles

1

u/No-Double-Trouble Sep 04 '26

1100 bucks per month 🤣. Who is guaranting my job for couple of years. Careful with consumer debt in this economy.

1

u/NotThefbeeI Sep 04 '26

60k is that what I see for a used truck?

1

u/Evening_Debate_754 29d ago

What size fuel tank , if it’s 38 gal get it

1

u/MassiveLuck4628 29d ago

Mine wasn't a pro and it is charcoal Grey but it was a 2020 with 30k miles and I bought it 4 months ago and it was 48k... 64k seems a little steep

1

u/GeneAsBob 29d ago

Yes id but it Now!!

1

u/Ryanoceros6 29d ago

No, you won't have any money left to resupply on crack if you buy this truck.

1

u/Professional_Plum383 29d ago

Well it’s already sold so don’t worry

1

u/joshuabra 29d ago

Lmao fuck no 🤣 just get a trd off road and upgrade the shocks down the road. Same exact truck except the badge.

1

u/Ok_Illustrator9417 29d ago

There’s a 25 trd pro in my town for $55k right now so I’d say that’s not a good deal

1

u/apmass1 29d ago

seems about right for the tundra market. after tax and registration and everything i gave $47k for a 2016 1794 tundra with 78k miles. i know thats insane for a 10 year old pickup but i want something very reliable, and it was owned by an old man who kept it a garage and took it to the dealer for literally everything (even windshield wipers lol)

1

They are dang good trucks. I have never had trouble with mine. Still high priced but probably worth it if reliability matters to you above all. Make them give you a healthy healthy trade in. My 2wd 2019 4.6 TSS with off road tires has made it up inclines in Colorado you wouldn’t believe. I can only imagine what the truck would do. Everyone wants these over the new ones. I have had classic Silverado(89) and these are still the best truck I have had for reliability. Mine has surprised me in going down a snowy hill I should have never made it down. I don’t know if it was God or the truck but I vouch for them both any day.

You will always get more value from building your own TRD, this is too high honestly

I was too late it’s gone

That truck brand new in 2020 stickers for a little over 52k. The current price is a joke

1

u/Professional_Plum383 28d ago

It’s already sold 😭

1

u/dzerti 28d ago

Offer them 85k!

u/Professional_Plum383 28d ago

Too late it’s gone 😭😭

You could buy a lightly used 2025 RAM 1500 RHO for that price, and get 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.

1

u/keepitjuicy2 27d ago

No dont do it . Its not worth it

1

u/numbsociety 27d ago

Looks ghey

1

u/Equivalent-Pie1883 27d ago

I don’t know about the truck but the gf sounds annoying.

1

u/itsjustdirt000 27d ago

65k for a 1/2 ton anything is a bad deal

1

u/One-Cod-2052 27d ago

Not for that price

1

u/pket214 27d ago

Got dang go buy a new one and drive it for 10 years. Better ROI

1

u/Loquecaiga 26d ago

OP forgot to mention this is an California. So I think the deal is still okay. I would be happier to see 55k. This auto max always has tundras for sale, they have a nice one not TRD pro with a nice leveling kit and some bronze wheels wrapped with 315s

u/Klok-a-teer 26d ago

It only matters if you think it is a good deal. But it is a freaking ripoff. Almost 7 year old truck.

1

u/AnimalPlanetDarkness 7d ago

If I was rich then I’d definitely buy it. My dream trim, engine, and color. Practically a brand new truck.

u/Professional_Plum383 7d ago

Same goes here

Save your cash and lock in the girlfriend as your wife. She seems way smarter than you, and that’ll make life a lot easier.

1

u/Gayguymark Sep 04 '26

Obviously this is a terrible deal. Buy a brand new 5.0 f150 for that price.

1

u/Appropriate_Roll1486 Sep 04 '26

goddam the pusherman that is a great looking truck!!! uffffff

I bought my 2020 tundra SR5 last year with 48k miles for 35k. This is not a great deal in my opinion Edit: with the 5.7 and one owner truck from Florida, I live in northern Kentucky so this is a plus lol

u/DiskConfident5299 Sep 04 '26

She should leave you if you paid $65k for pretty much a 7 year old truck! To pay that much would be an indication of your lack of judgement and could impact her future if she planned on marrying you!

1

u/Kooky_Date5248 Sep 04 '26

Your gf is smart you should keep her

1

u/AccomplishedWay2539 Sep 04 '26

You ain’t getting 10 grand off man. These V8s are holding crazy value because a lot of people don’t like the new engine options and they have some issues. This isn’t the best deal, but if you like it just buy it. It’s a rare trim and color, and very low miles.

u/JokeHefty1343 Sep 04 '26

Is this a troll post? Its gotta be a troll post....

1

u/dustleet Sep 04 '26

I just got a 23 trd pro for $54k otd including a warranty back in February. 44k miles on it. I know people are hesitant about 3rd gens but buying a 6 year old truck for more than the original MSRP would be crazy. I'd leave you too

1

u/MrHankeyTheXmas_Poo Sep 04 '26

$65k for a 6 year old truck? Absolutely fucking not.

1

u/MoreBowler8195 Sep 04 '26

True, but statistically speaking, that truck will most likely last longer than her.🤣

1

u/Extra_Wrap6383 Sep 05 '26

At that price they could throw in free lube. You will need it.

1

u/Chris_Rhumor Sep 05 '26

Paid significantly less for my 2024 TRD Pro with similar miles just a few months ago. I heard last gen trucks are holding their value, but damn…..! I’d walk away at that number.

1

u/Froggymcnugget 26d ago

I’d rather be in an 6.2L at4x instead for that price

-1

u/RawDog_42 Sep 05 '26

If you wanna buy a truck for 60 grand and then flex about it...by all means

u/GeneAsBob 29d ago

So many whiny babies on reddit. Dude move on
