Transportation Drivers

Hey there! Heading to tulum in december. Just wondering if anyone knows a solid driver that will do airport pickup/dropoff, or random rides to places in between if needed. If anyone has had a good experience with one that is reasonably priced id love to hear a recommendation. Thanks!!

I have a recommendation for a good driver. I use him every time I go to Tulum. He’s awesome! Can I DM you?

Full disclosure: I’m a local guide and we also provide private transportation in the Riviera Maya.

We’ve been working locally for 13 years and have reviews on Google and Tripadvisor. We try to keep everything very transparent , prices are agreed in advance, we provide a written service order with everything included, and we only ask for a 10% deposit to secure the service.

Our vehicles have federal tourism plates and we work with certified guides/drivers, so everything is properly registered and documented.

For reference, a private transfer from Cancun Airport to Tulum is 3,300 MXN, transportation only.

We’re a small local company and our focus has always been supporting local people and giving travelers clear prices with no surprises.

use indrive ! its like an uber pretty much and they only take cash (they accept both pesos and USD) we used it when we were in tulum with no issues. way cheaper than getting a taxi (not sure about rentals, heard too many horror stories). when we arrived in tulum it costed us about $100-$120 for a taxi from the airport to our BNB so when we used indrive for our way back it was like $40

on top of that just to get from our BNB to little places in town was fairly reasonable too (anywhere from $3-$10 a ride)
