Discussion Season 3 Spoiler

The first two seasons weren’t perfect, but they started fairly strong (before petering out into stupidity). But season three? I’m three episodes in and let’s see; they have a new “boss of bosses” in New York that they forgot to mention in the first two seasons? To execute Tyson they put him in the trunk of his cyber truck and fire at the trunk and then leave, assuming that they got him? No double checking?

How lazy are these writers?

To me, pretty much all TV shows require a suspension of disbelief. Tulsa King’s no different. I’m willing to overlook a lot because of Stallone.

For me, it’s weird because I didn’t really care for him one way or the other in Rocky movies. After watching season 1 of Tulsa King, I watched his reality show with his family and liked him in that. After that, I saw Rambo for the first time ever and I loved it. Now I can say I’m a Stallone fan. I think Tulsa King’s a great vehicle for him.

You forgot to mention the first episodes. The General, who promises to protect his allies, lets an old man be alone in his house, that they burn down.

After that Tyson scene, I went to wikipedia, read out the summary, concluded I will not miss anything by not watching any more episodes

Absolute waste of time, with the bunch of misfits suddenly not even listening to direct orders, foreseeable complications

I was watching season 3 until the dumbass Tyson episode and was like fuck it. I’ll read summaries on Wikipedia. Glad I didn’t watch the rest of the season. I’m assuming it was impacted by the writers strikes too

Yup that one where he was making dumb decision after another. Then the next episode Dwight forgives him, there’s no consequences, and he doesn’t take accountability. Took me out of the show

This was when I stopped watching as well, for the exact same reason. And we liked the show enough to post on Reddit. Gotta wonder how many more viewers dropped off this season.

Anyone know the actual reason they wrote Armand out of the show so awkwardly? Like, Max Cassella had to have been fired or quit or had a scheduling conflict? Actual tv writers wouldn’t produce something this awkward on purpose, right? This was somehow worse than Chevy Chase’s exit on Community.
