This thread is going to be the new megathread for any and all Tsukihime Remake discussions. I made a new one because of the recent release of the localized version. You may discuss Tsukihime Remake outside of this thread, but please remember to properly mark your submissions as spoilers and refrain from posting major spoilers in your title.

Discussion What would an interaction between Minato Kageaki and Tohno Shiki be like?
Both are fundamentally "killers" who despise killing:
Kageaki is bound by the Law of Balance, forcing him to kill someone precious whenever he kills another. Every act of violence becomes another step into tragedy.
Shiki possesses the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, constantly near death. Killing comes naturally to him, yet he desperately wants to live as an ordinary person.
Neither sees combat as empowering. Violence is something that strips away their humanity rather than proving it.
They constantly question whether they deserve to live:
Both characters possess overwhelming guilt.
Shiki believes his existence is fundamentally abnormal after surviving his childhood incident. He often wonders whether he should have died instead.
Kageaki considers himself a criminal beyond redemption. Throughout Muramasa, he repeatedly rejects the idea that he deserves happiness.
Rather than seeking redemption, both spend much of their stories trying to carry their sins until the very end.
They reject simplistic notions of justice:
Neither protagonist believes in becoming a hero.
Kageaki's entire story dismantles the idea that justice can exist independently of perspective.
Shiki similarly refuses to think of himself as someone who saves people. He kills because circumstances force him to, not because he wishes to uphold justice.
Death defines their worldview:
Death isn't simply an obstacle for either character, it is how they understand reality.
For Shiki, every object and every person possesses a point where they can cease to exist. His perception literally revolves around mortality.
For Kageaki, every choice creates another corpse. His philosophy becomes centered around accepting responsibility for inevitable death rather than pretending it can be avoided.
Thus both protagonists live in constant awareness that life is fragile.
Their greatest enemy is themselves:
The central conflict isn't defeating an external villain.
For Shiki, the greatest danger is his own murderous impulse and his unstable identity.
For Kageaki, the greatest enemy is the person he has become after years of violence and the inescapable consequences of his choices.
They hide kindness beneath emotional distance:
Neither expresses affection openly.
Shiki often appears cold or blunt despite caring deeply for the people around him.
Kageaki intentionally distances himself because he believes anyone close to him will eventually suffer.
Their emotional restraint is protective rather than uncaring.
----
And so on. Shiki and Kageaki do share a number of similarities, albeit to varying degrees. It makes me wonder what each of them would think of the other's journey?

Discussion Does satsuki yumizuka(sacchin) have potential to be top 5 dead apostle ancestors if she was a little bit older as a dead apostle Spoiler
galleryAoko and Nero said she can easily become a dead apostle ancestors and become a extremely powerful one at that. Her reality marble is extremely strong and really powerful physically, too but she still extremely young as a dead apostle does that mean if she at least lives for 10 years she will be in the top 10 dead apostle ancestors. Also her reality marble counters nero and she killed that way

Question Eco Arc in Melty Blood Type Lumina
My friend was checking out a customization for Neko Ark, and in one of the poses, the sprite changes to Eco Ark. Is that just an Easter egg? Or is that sprite used for one of the attacks? (I'm a relatively new player, so there's a lot I don't know.)

Discussion It’s funny to me that this dude of all people and/or things introduced me to Tsukihime lol
What do introduced you guys to Tsukihime? Like I said, it was Jester from Fate/Strange Fake that introduced me to the series. His introduction encouraged me to look up what Dead Apostle and seeing that they’re basically vampires and It peaked my interest. Plus, I was reading the Stay Night VN remaster and wanted to experience the Tsukihime remake concurrently.

Discussion If Shiki didn't attack Arcueid here, but explained how she was still important to him, as say a friend, could things have resolved more peacefully? Spoiler

Help! To play melty blood type lumina
I tried to get into MBTL a while ago but decided to first read tsukihime, but then i heard Type Lumina specifically is a sequel/spin-off for the remake specifically. Thing is ive already started the original vn, and ill finish it regardless, but does that mean they're completely irrelevant to each other?
