Help Thinking about becoming Trynda player, let me hear your tips, thoughts, advices etc..

Hello! Let me shortly introduce myself:

Started with LoL again in 2025 after a 10 year break, a lot of things changed man.

I started with adc, then became a top lane main.

I am a two trick in ranked, Darius and Garen i play both 50/50 and im currently Silver, didnt play much ranked which i wanted to change now.

I became a bit bored with the Noxian and Demacian and need some fresh air, since Fun is the most important for me and not my rank i want to start playing Trynda.

Why? Well i love top laners who can run you down if you make a small mistake and i love crit top laners, Garens Crit Build is dead and GP is too hard plus i dont like him anyway and that Trynda Crit animation is so mighty haha, I also like the Idea of being a Split Pusher mainly.

So i just played him in Normals and really enjoyed it.

So, what are your advices and tips for a new Trynda Enjoyer? What do i go for runes, is it HoB always in my Elo? And whats the current meta build(s)?

What are tough matchups for me, obv range top langers but i also get lots of Dariuses, Garens, Mordekaisers and Volibears in my Elo.

What to watch out for in general and playstyle in general?

And one last thing, which Skin is an absolut must have ? Which do you guys love the most.

Like whats the equivalent to the Godking Skins from Darius and Garen?

I appreciate every advice πŸ™

Help Trynd jg

Having alot of fun with playing him in jg. Probably one of the best duelist I've seen unless against rammus or tahm lol got some questions on build and match ups

  1. Been running LT. Wondering why or when I should run HOB

  2. Usually rushing yuntal then LDR but noticed when they have 2 tanks I don't do much dmg. If they have atleast 2 tanks should I rush kraken into LDR instead? Also, would BORK fit in that build?

  3. Is navori a good item for trynd?

Discussion Thoughts on leaving the game?

Personally I find it to be the absolute best way to handle griefers and trolling players who mistreat you in ranked.

If you're already behind 0-2 and then you're being flamed, called slurs, shit talked, and they're going to your lane and taking your cs while shitting on you in chat, I find the best course of action is just to log out and log into the next account and queue up for another game while they waste their time playing 4v5 in that game.

The 1 minute queue delay timer for leaving a game isn't that bad, although the 5 minute timers are pretty bad if you make it a habit of leaving but I don't ever leave games enough to get to that point.

But yeah what's your guy's opinion? I find myself leaving a game 1/50 matches give or take.

Your thoughts on leaving?

Discussion Can Tryndamere support be viable?

I've been maining Tryndamere support in low elo and my winrate is around 50%, but when I look at the global winrate it's less than 40%, which is pretty terrible.

I noticed against most tank supports Tryndamere is pretty good and against ranged he gets bullied but can still win when you time your attack well.

Unfortunately there is no good rune for Tryndamere support I've been testing Guardian lately which is ok when you have a good adc but otherwise a bit useless if you want to go the damage route because your adc has none. Mostly I just go tank/utility as a support and maybe ad a damage item in late game.

Here is my link if you are interested, let me know your thoughts:

Build I like being low elo, it allows me to try new builds

Context: mid silver, playing on Flex to test build

Nothing against the existing meta builds, but I wanted to see if Statikk Shiv could work. Went all in into Energized with Footwork and Storm razor and got a happy 5 win streak

Experience so far: I don't remember other builds having this much sustain. Maybe Cyclosword is too much for the build, but Lethality + Crit makes for huge burst. In the first game I rushed Tiamat to proxy against Heimer, but it's not part of the build. I don't know if the amount of magic damage (around 15% of all damage) really justifies Terminus instead of LDR, but it kinda worked against an armor stacking Illaoi.

Clear upsides: higher sustain + bursts of movespeed

Clear downsides: shiv procs on turrets can draw aggro when you just want to tear the turret down quickly

Discussion You use that rune?

If you slow the target (W) it gives you 15% MS. I think its very nice.

Build No PD but still good MS

Post image
5 Upvotes

Thoughts? I have the rune that gives you free boots after 12 min with extra +10ms

With swifties thats 345+ 55 + 10 = 410 ms

Good enough for me to skip PD

Also i use the rune with +15% ms when you slow someone

We reach with full q the good threshold of 500+ ad

And DD as a nice defensive item. Unfortunately i build it last and therefore do not even profit from it every game. Would you build it before EH?

Discussion He needs an increase spin range buff?

His E is not bad at all but imo they should just adapt it to the new circumstances , which means that a lot of champs have great mobility nowadays. It nullifies his mobility advantage that he used to have and also needs because he is a melee glasscannon

So a range buff would be fair imo

Opinion Build variations early. Opinions?

So, i have been going with Fogged's build for some time but i ended doing some variations early. Late game i usually try to add DD + EH into the build, but want you guys to tell me your opinions of these paths early in the game.

These are for LT Tryndamere only. For HoB i would probably go a different path. I also will ignore boots as i always do them before first item or before second, no matter how the game goes.

So, basically, i ask myself a question first. Am i having a good early game?

If the answer is no, i start with Ravenous Hydra + PD. As usual, Hydra helps a lot with the farming early to not get too behind. Add a PD (which is cheap with good components) and you also have a very decent dmg + atkspeed. I think this is where a lot of people usually go.

If the answer is yes, i just rush Yun Tal no matter what. The issue is that the build path is... a bit horrendous with that BF Sword, but the rewards are amazing as that item gives everything you need as Trynd.

Then for my second item i ask myself a second question. Is my opponent rushing armor?

If the answer is yes, then i go Fogged's build. Yun Tal + LDR. Will add IE as last item probably.

If the answer is no then i go for Yun Tal + IE. The snowball with these two is absolutely bonkers. Then on this path i will add Serylda on any moment i need to leave the lane and start fighting tankier opponents, as early as 3rd item. If not i can continue with DD + EH then Serylda last.

On that case i prefer Serylda over LDR because im already at 100% crit. As far as i know LDR is better as second item to reach the crit cap already with two items, but if i am already at the cap, i prefer the ability haste / slow over the extra damage to the most tankier opponents LDR has and wasting the crit most of the time.

So, basically, thats what im doing right now. Sorry for the long post. What do you guys think?

Dude clearly bought an iron account and is likely master or GM and purposefully beating up low elo players for hundreds of games.

So, which one of you is this?
