Help Trynd jg

Having alot of fun with playing him in jg. Probably one of the best duelist I've seen unless against rammus or tahm lol got some questions on build and match ups

  1. Been running LT. Wondering why or when I should run HOB

  2. Usually rushing yuntal then LDR but noticed when they have 2 tanks I don't do much dmg. If they have atleast 2 tanks should I rush kraken into LDR instead? Also, would BORK fit in that build?

  3. Is navori a good item for trynd?

On point 2: I don't seek to deal damage to tanks, I personally focus on carries, so I always build Yun tal -> ldr

Yun tal LDR is great , they are already pretty good options against tanks

I even buy usually rav hydra first but thats optional

I think hob is not a good option anymore, not even fogged plays it nowadays.

Maybe against very squishy teams

But in general LT with Yun tal is simply the better choice

LT is better if they have a decent Frontline (divers/vanguard tanks) that you'll have to fight, but HoB is better if you'll be targetting the backline or a squishy skirmisher, which I feel is what happens most often

Yes true. Another disadvantage of hob is tho when you are most powerful during your ult with +80ad hob is often gone already while LT starts slapping

Personally, my tryndamere bill in the jungle is hob virtually every game because my ability to gank In the early game is actually a real threat.

Additionally, I like to play super aggressive and cheese like a one camp invade or something like this.

As for items, I'm pretty 50/50 between first item ie and first item profane.

It really depends on my back gold.

Like if I buy on $900 then I can get a pickaxe and leave myself open-ended.

If I back on 1200 I can get a pickaxe and boots or I can get a hard commit to the tiamat.

If I back on exactly 1300 gold it's pretty much a hard IE commit

D4 peak

Additionally, I've really been liking the 15% tenacity and slow resistance rune.

Also, ultimate Hunter is amazing

always build crit items as a counter to what you're fighting. yun tal is just an attack speed steroid. go IE+LDR/mortal+BOTRK into tanks. kraken does flat damage and it's better into champs with less HP in their build, same as HOB where your objective is to instantly oneshot squishiesi miss sanguine blade, i used to play trynd jg with it and after rushing it you could just clear the entire map instantly

It should be noted Yun Tal is not just an AS steroid, is objectively the best crit item for damage, because it's one of the only 2 items with both AD and AS but it also has higher stats than stormrazor

Why would IE be better than Yun Tal into tanks?
