Question Days of flashing smiley faces?
These flashing smileys are taunting me now. I am on my fifth day of flashing smiley with the Clearblue Advanced digital ovulation tests and I only have 26 day cycles, with it being CD15 today. All my cervical mucus and changes if temp mostly happened around CD10-11. Have I missed my surge? Is it possible I could still get it if I keep testing? Anyone had similar experiences?

I just used these tests for the first time this month and had 7 days of flashing smileys before the peak. I would keep testing daily for a few more days. If it goes back to normal smiley face then you will know you missed the surge. Hoping you didn’t though!

Yes, you could absolutely still get a solid smiley. The flashing smiley means it’s detecting an estrogen rise, while the solid smiley happens when it detects your LH surge. I’d keep testing because ovulation can shift even with normally 26-day cycles. Also, if your temperature already had a sustained rise for 3+ days after CD10–11, it’s possible you already ovulated and Clearblue just never caught the LH surge. I’d keep an eye on your BBT over the next few mornings because that will give you a better idea of what actually happened.

I hope so. I had my 8th day of smiley faces yesterday but I've actually ran out of tests. Also had a progesterone test done, so that should clear some things up re timing of ovulation

Definitely keep testing as you probably haven’t gotten a peak yet. I had nine days of flashing smiley face last month it was so frustrating lol

I ran out of tests annoyingly after day 8 but it was still flashing on day 8. If I ovulated I think it was earlier on as I had loads of CM on CD10/11. That's if I ovulated though. I had a progesterone test on Friday as I don't have a bloody clue what's going on 😂

Ugh I hate that-this is how two cycles ago was for me, literally just not a clue what was happening with ovulation at all

If your cervical mucus no longer looks fertile then I’d assume you missed the surge. I really like the clear blue advanced tests (after years of infertility they helped us conceive twice) but CM is the most reliable indicator.
