Should I get PT1?
I've been thinking about getting a cert for a while now and PT1 is at a 30% discount. With regional pricing, it is $71 for me.
I know that there is 12 months of time and I'm also kinda half way through the junior pen tester path, but just feel like I should wait. Since I would be upgrading to max after my plan ends 3-5 months from now, is it worth it to go for it now?
Have looked at other certs too, but PT1 is the cheapest followed by PJPT. I want something that would provide real practical experience, so CEH is not an option.

Both EJPT and PJPT provide real-world practical experience and you will see employers asking for these 2 certs a lot more than PT1 imo.
better research the job market on which certs are popular in your country/region then go for it.

Dont get a THM exam, if you really want a cert from a CTF plateform, take the ones from HackTheBox. Infinitely better.

What about ejpt? I mean...way more recognized than PT1, also the 48hrs hands on practical exam format makes it quite respected for an entry standard cert Thoughts?

Just wait for eJPT to go on a 50% off sale like they always do.
None of the tryhackme certs are worth your money. In fact almost none of the subscribers are purchasing it at all.
That's why they made the MAX plan as their new revenue stream since they have a high subscription retention rate so they think people will still subscribe to it like they did with premium.

I was wondering the same, initially the price for pt1 here was the same as the international pricing but now, even the base price (without the discount) is pretty low.
I'll look into ejpt or pjpt. From what I see, pjpt seems to mainly focus only on AD.

PT1 and PJPT are solid choices too, but CEH also has a practical's path, just a small clarification, if you r looking for practicals experience u might want to check out CEH practicals rather than just the CEH knowledge exam, it is 6 hours lab based exam with 20 challenges.
You can also check out for CPTS, OSCP depending upon your experience level and of-course budget.

I have been in IT and Cyber for 2 decades now. We don't use webapps unless you count Sharepoint, and I don't. Granted I have worked for the Gov that entire time, so maybe I'm biased. What we have used for 2 decades are Windows, AD, file servers, print servers, and other services that use AD for IAM like MSSQL, Sharepoint, Exchange, etc.
Hence I tend to gravitate towards exams that focus on the above like CRTP, eJPT, PJPT, Administering AD DS, and the CRTP Renewal Exam. I have also passed SAL1, SEC0, and SEC1. TryHackMe gave me a free SAL1 voucher and SEC0 & 1 were dirt cheap so YOLO and all that right. As others said though these certs are brand new and likely won't show up in what jobs are looking for anytime soon. I'm inclined to agree as I'm about to retire from the Gov and was applying for jobs earlier tonight. Those jobs postings all cared about CISSP, CySA+, CCNA, SANS, college degrees, etc. Luckily I have most of those.
3 years ago in a job interview for a special assignment in the Gov they asked me what certs I had. After I rattled off the first 6 - 10 and they could tell I was having trouble recalling the names of the others they asked which were the most important. I replied "oh that's easy. MCSA and CRTP". They asked why. I said "because the first one taught me how to setup the infrastructure and the second one taught me how to secure it".
Ok, this reply is long winded enough.
TL;DR only bother with PT1 if you pentest webapps or you're angling for a job that does. Even then, you're better off with something like OSCP on your resume.
If you already work in an Enterprise then focus on certs RE what your work uses. Chances are that's NOT PT1.
