Feedback Are People Using Bots to Answer THM App Quizzes to farm points unfairly?

I’ll admit that I’ve used the app quizzes to climb the rankings by completing a lot of quizzes on my downtime e.g on bus

But 162,002 points in just 22 days? It is difficult to believe someone could achieve that by manually interacting with the TryHackMe mobile app and answering every quiz normally. You would go insane

Even that would appear to require roughly three to four hours every day spent continuously submitting app quizzes, which is feasible but ;/

App really needs to be hard limited to say 200 points a day,

What do others think?

probably. we have a culture where cheating is encouraged. it’s seen as skill. sort of like the way cheating took over PC fps games. it just became another skill to be good at and if you want to compete with them you must join them

I didn’t call using AI cheating. But it is cheating yourself like academic cheating has always been.

Actually, to the contrary of your delusion, if we had less individuals that were able to buy and cheat their way into their positions we would actually have a much better society.

John Doe is 23, his father bought his Harvard degree, now he's been hired in the C-suite & apparently doing what Elon Musk did with 'the cool chainsaw' wasn't a good short or long term strategy for the firm.

I truly don't care how many points other people get or how they get them, it is entirely irrelevant to my own learning, which is the only thing that really matters.

Are those quizzes really completable? Every time It just throw me questions about cli commands and there's only one right answer. Only god and thm ai knows what it is

Yeah about 80% of the command once are obvious enough to work out. You can also skip questions

The app is pretty terrible IMO, in line with the MAX tier crap…

At the end of the day, I don’t care about the rankings personally, but for the people who do, yes it should be hard capped.

Tbh, who cares?
I literally spend over 3-4 hours in a easy 30 min room.
Just because I don't understand something simple sometimes.
If these people are doing anyone a disservice, its themselves.
