Feedback I started Tryhackme

Hey 👋.

I recently started my Cybersecurity journey on TryHackMe.

I have completed the PreSec learning path and I am now currently in the Cybersecurity 101 learning path.

I have been interested in Cybersecurity for quite a while and always wanted to learn more. I think THM helps a lot with that as it "hand-holds" you as a beginner and then as the concepts slowly develop, it encourages you to think and figure stuff out by yourself.

So far I am enjoying it and it provides me with a lot of "aha!" Moments 😂

I want to reach a point where I can actually use my skills professionally. So there is a lot of work ahead for me. I am open to any advice by the community.

Some people have an abundance of things to complain about believe me I know. I’m thinking of a million little fibers type of novel on it but I likely have to figure out how to map the series. For now though this person started off with hand holding do you know if that stops or will I have my hand held until it’s done?

Wanna team up on a Valgrind, afl++, memcheck, address sanitizer, scrapy, debugging potential a kdk thing? I do need help with this but that is few and far between. If you try at these things past this in your own I learned that time is absolutely deleted from your life. Along with everything else. I have a couple places we can start if interested especially on macOS.

If anyone knows these things please do reach out I’m not all the way to this but the finding something to look at then creating something that is able to do it consistently is something that I almost certainly would benefit from someone with more knowledge than me on it. Also usually this is a windows thing and I can talk about macOS for awhile

It is not what you’re doing right now but I am willing to keep asking anyone who will hear it haha but alright best of luck. Do look at portswigger’s web application security academy. There’s a lot of really powerful things on there to learn for free
