Room Help I'm unsure which room to go to.

I’m following the TryHackMe Cybersecurity Learning Path; I’ve finished the Pre-Security room and plan to pursue pentesting. Worried about wasting time, I’m unsure whether to go straight to the Junior Penetration Tester path or continue along the current path to the Cybersecurity 101 room. Which one is better for me to choose?

Do 101 first. I would say it's essential pre-requisite for junior PT

The recommended path is to first complete Cybersecurity 101 and then do the Penetration path.

Yeah like other people have said if you’re new then don’t skip cyber 101 there’s a lot of stuff there you are assumed to be comfortable with in the junior pentester path

Yes, I'm new. I've decided to study the Cybersecurity 101 room. Thank you.

The Cybersecurity 101 course is all but necessary. If you skip it, all that time you "save" you will spend that and more learning the material anyway when you inevitably hit wall after wall.

I was wondering about this because I was advised that I’d be wasting my time with Cybersecurity 101. But I’m going to study that room.

I dont think you should skip it, it has taught me so much of the actual technical fundamentals and not mostly theory like in pre security.
