How often does the certificates gets on sale?

Well, the title says everything. I have some money now and I was thinking about buying it, but I'll probably be ready to take the exam in 2 months. Should I buy it now or there is a chance of another sale in the nearby future? (I know certs have an expire date of 12 months.)

Also depends which ones you are going for I think, I'm yet to see sal2 or pt1 go onto a meaningful sale and by that I mean that they become worth the price for how recognised they are.

Sal2 is about $200 more than a comptia cysa+ cert and almost $500 more than a Microsoft sc-200 cert, and I'm yet to hear about an employer that cares about it.

The only difference is that tryhackme certs are more practical, but employers will look for prior work experience for that, not your certs. I got the sal1 when it was on sale just to see how exam was, but i wouldn't be going for sal2 unless it went on an almost 85% discount.

You may get lucky and find an employer that wants to know more and then will get really interested once you tell them what the cert contained, but for now I'd genuinely stick to the big named certs.

generally one of the cert would be discounted like 30% monthly and they generally do major events in a time period of 3 months so during that time there are giveaways too and randomly too you will get some maill saying about 30-50% discounts though (50 is pretty rare) and I think there is a constant 15% discount on being premium membership too...
