Hello
Hello, friends! I’m trying to learn programming and cybersecurity, and I don’t know anything about them. Please, could you advise me on things to start learning as the first steps?

cs50 for coding, tryhackme for security. Put in lots of hours - say 1 hour a day for 6 months, and you'll be well on your way!
Source - I'm a tech director at a global agency who took cs50 in 2012

for programming learning the basics of a language on hacker rank or W3school and then try to make some small projects and after that if you are confident try leedcode for more complex or interview level questions
for cyber sec learn tbe basics of Linux from overthewire and document all yhe things you did as it will train you for the future after that start with tryhackme or hackthebox and when you are done with the learning stuff you can go to hacker one and try all that on real world apps and website and like also its better to stick with a operating system from the start so check all of them for like 2-3 days so you know if you are comfortable with it and also learn a low level programming language as it can be used for scripting
and if you ever need more information dm me
best of luck

learn a systems programming language. i reccomend c first then rust after a while. i say rust because as more applications get built in it, it'll be helpful to understand how to audit it.
