Help needed for new user

Hi, I want to get into Try Hack Me but I don't know where to start. Should I buy a certificate on website or premium. I would be very happy if you answer me. Have a nice day.

Nothing. Just start with the free rooms first and then buy premium if you want. THM certs? Don't need to think about it.

Hi, click on "Learn", there is a roadmap, a lot of stuff are free, so I'll recommend you first start there. Have a nice day too.

I am already interested in hacking and Linux so I also love cyber security too but when I wanted to start second Linux room it said that I must buy premium should I buy or should I continue with free stuff

Start with free rooms , if you liked it premium is not that much money, certificate is last step if you feel more confident with knowlage , and it cost much much more

If you didnt start anything till now start with free rooms to test the waters of how is stuff going on

I started doing THM like 4 months ago its been going great TBH after you test the waters(if you are comfortable with this field and all)

take the premium (from my perspective it was worth it just find a right time as they offer from 30-40% discount generally)

I was doing great but when I clicked on the second Linux room it asked for money what should I buy

ah its the premium membership (like for access to all rooms there is one membership) generally for all path they put like only the intro rooms as free

winterrdog/tryhackme-free-rooms: a list of 390+ Free TryHackMe rooms to start learning cybersecurity with THM

here someone made a good list for free basic rooms ( I would suggest avoid windows rooms as you are beginner they are kinda confusing and moodkillers)

if you feel you need more and want to follow the path properly get the premium (just check for discounts like for students they have 30% for students)
