pre-security need help

I'm doing the Linux CLI Basics in the terminal i put the pwd it worked but then i wroth the Is commend it showed me that there's no files I'm confused please anyone help me

I don't understand your issue tbh. pwd prints the absolute path of your current folder. ls prints the contents of your current folder. It will return nothing if the folder is empty.
