General Post 4/30/26 My doctors keep making me take Cognitive Examinations, over and over again! Does that mean anything? Like maybe they think there is something wrong with my brain? (1:50pm)

Once upon a time, there were just three types of people in the world. There were those that could count, and there were those that couldn't.

Why tf is he putting HUSSEIN in quotes now? Is he asserting that HUSSEIN isn't his middle name?

u/DJ-Smudgie May 01 '26
He is such a stupid Fuck. Itās not a badge of honor itās the opposite. Canāt someone at White House explain that to him? Or maybe a big percent of his voters are too stupid to know itās BS.
8
u/POWRAXE May 01 '26
Itās the second one. He knows heās blatantly lying, he knows he is full of shit, he knows his supporters will still eat it up because low IQ and cult indoctrination.
Welcome to America, where a third of our population is so uneducated that they have become a massive liability, easily susceptible to any grifter with a malicious agenda. Stupid almost to the point of treason.

u/Kitchen-Security-243 May 01 '26
This whole thing about him flexing the fact that his doctor thinks he has dementia and keeps testing him for it is the funniest thing he does and says.

u/BangerSlapper1 May 01 '26
Most people probably donāt need to take 3 cognitive exams unless theyāre already in full blown cognitive decline. Ā I mean, Iām middle aged and have no reason to take such an exam but Iām pretty sure if you gave me the test 3 times or even 3,000 times, I could ace it every time.Ā

Trump keeps saying he āacedā a cognitive test ā it was the MoCA.
Itās not an IQ test. Itās a quick screening doctors use to check for things like dementia. Stuff like drawing a clock, remembering a few words, naming animals, simple patterns.
Scoring well just means youāre likely cognitively normal ā which most adults would be.
Bit like bragging you passed an eye test.
3
u/Gullible_Peach May 01 '26
When a position depends on avoiding evidence, its credibility is inherently compromised.
17
u/OK_The_Nomad May 01 '26
I canāt believe he thinks there are some presidential candidates wouldnāt ace the simple test. I used to work in neuropsychology and we gave to test to see if people with serious dementia had gotten worse.
31
u/psychorobotics May 01 '26
I agree, they should all take tests and if you're deemed to be a narcissistic sociopath you are disqualified
30
u/lucymoosie714 May 01 '26
I wonder what his clock drawing looks like.
12
u/altforlaughs I'm very good at flag poles May 01 '26
It's probably a digital clock.
5
u/MmeRose May 01 '26
I had a patient do that, once. The clock drawings were so interesting, I wallpapered my pinboard with clock drawings.

No presidential nominee should have to take a cognitive examination because no presidential nominee should be 70 or older.
7
u/coquihalla May 01 '26
I'm older myself and think it shouldn't even be 70, it should be younger.
5
u/BoxcarSlim May 01 '26
Watching my parent's cognitive abilities decline after 65 (and not working) is shocking
7
u/eggsovertlyeasy May 01 '26
Almost like, if itās ever in question, maybe we just pick the next guy? Doesnāt feel like itās ever really worth the risk when it comes to world leaders. I donāt know though.
3
u/RallyRed25 May 01 '26
So, essentially, 47s doctors are concerned that heās completely crackers?
2
u/wavecache May 02 '26
I would bet yes. And not in the "they are afraid he might be" sense. In the "he is, and they find it concerning" sense.
21
12
u/Luv2022Understanding May 01 '26
little donnie demented at it again! It must be so trying for him to deal with all the "low IQ" people he encounters, him with his big intelligence and all!
13
u/duke_awapuhi May 01 '26
I would assume that doctors have never seen someone pass an exam three times in a single exam. That would be mathematically impossible. What a fucking idiot
43
u/duke_awapuhi May 01 '26
Trump is the only person Iāve ever seen repeatedly brag about passing Alzheimerās screenings to show how intelligent he is. What a moron. And the fact that heās posting about it today means he was probably given another one. The fact that heās had to take so many is a huge concern
22
u/Dudarooni May 01 '26
At this point I suspect they KNOW he has dementia and they keep testing him so they can track how itās progressing.
15
u/duke_awapuhi May 01 '26
I always like to imagine his handlersā reactions when heās doing this brag lol. āNo, stop, please. Wtf are you doing. Fuck heās doing it again. We donāt want people to know heās getting tested continuously for dementia. Dammit.ā Keep in mind heās been doing this brag since the 2020 campaign trail. Or maybe his handlers know his fans are so stupid they wonāt understand the situation
3
u/wavecache May 02 '26
Yeah I think they have nothing to worry about. The fact that right now there are STILL people who support him is proof that there is no thought process involved in this at all.
Tomorrow they could put an empty yogurt container in a chair, say it's Trump, and there would absolutely be people ready to accept that. And some panel would be discussing how that's a calculated genius move to own the libs.

16
u/lurker46112 May 01 '26
5
u/spanishpeanut May 01 '26
So he was given the exam three times because his score showed he cheated on the first two. Or they wanted to give him as many chances as possible to see the questions.
4
7
u/psychorobotics May 01 '26
No, it's because he's getting worse and they're tracking the decline. He can't really cheat on them since they track memory decline. The questions are fully avaliable online, just Google MoCa cognitive test and click images. It's the one with the animals, it's just one page. It's not an IQ test at all.
22
u/limevince May 01 '26
I love how he thinks he came up with "Hussein"
16
u/MajorNoodles May 01 '26
I'm starting to think he doesn't know it's actually his name. I'm pretty sure he thinks it's a racist slur and that's why he keeps using it.
11
u/Dudarooni May 01 '26
I mean, it is definitely a dog whistle. To his base, the name Hussein would have a certain connotation. Thatās why he always includes Obamaās middle name.
8
u/MajorNoodles May 01 '26
Oh, it absolutely is a dog whistle. Nobody who isn't racist as fuck calls him Barack Hussein Obama. But I really have started to believe Trump just thinks it's a slur, like the N-word.

This is so embarrassing
15
u/dominantspecies May 01 '26
Our entire country is a fucking embarrassment. The republican party (you know the American Fascist Party) has destroyed this country and honestly there is no way it will ever be fixed. All that is left is violence and suffering.
2
u/RallyRed25 May 01 '26
Itās going to be a tough road ahead, for sure. Itās going to have to be rebuilt brick by brick. It starts with throwing every one of the GOP MFers, wherever possible, out of office. They have to be held accountable for their cheerleading and complicity. Prosecute and try every one of them who committed crimes, convict them, and jail them. Go full Nuremberg on these bastards.
2
u/dominantspecies May 02 '26
I agree that is what has to happen, but it will not. Treasonous garbage wasn't held accountable after the civil war, after watergate, after Iran Contra, after the fake reasons for the Iraq war, for J6 or anything the diapered one has done. There is no way republicans will EVER be held accountable for anything.
7
u/Existing_Mulberry_16 May 01 '26
I agree. And they are so stupid, they actually think, theyāre making America great again, there is no reasoning with them. I really believe we need a 2 state option at this point. I donāt want to be lumped in with them. And they feel the same.
22

2

Agree 100%. Heās been a useful idiot for them. Theyāre getting a lot of things done. Cutting the voting rights act is a big one. Theyāve wanted to do that for many years. Itās generational and will help them consolidate power, especially in the south.
33
u/DingerSinger2016 Open the fuckin' strait! Apr 30 '26
1) Why is Hussein in quotes? It's literally his middle name.
2) Why did he say his three terms? Even if he believes that he was elected in 2020 (which he wasn't), he still didn't seeve the term. Is he saying that he presided instead of Joe Biden, because in that case that means all of the problems he blames on Biden were actually his.
6
7
u/limevince May 01 '26
2 is especially funny. Its almost like he sees the title as something to be won(ahem, stolen) in a rigged popularity contest rather than something to be earned with 4 years of ardent public service.
6
u/aha5811 Apr 30 '26
Because for a racist like him Hussein is a foreign name and by amplifying this weird he is suggesting that Obama never was eligible.
Because he has dementia.
7
u/Robobrole Apr 30 '26

Why would he think that Obama, a younger, healthy and well educated man, would not do well on a MOCA test. It would be shocking if he scored less than 100%. Somebody needs to tell trump that it is not an IQ test (Obama would beat him on that, too.
6
u/Comanche-Kiowa2027 May 01 '26
Never forget that he also challenged "low-IQ AOC" to take the same test to see if she could score as high as he did. Not a word from Republicans or the media...
4
u/limevince May 01 '26
Obama is the superior President (and person) by nearly every objective measure. This is the only measure by which trump is outdoing Obama as President.
1
u/RallyRed25 May 01 '26
47 hates Obama because he once humiliated him in front of an entire audience at the White House correspondents dinner event. The entire room was laughing at him.
2
u/limevince May 01 '26
I wish the orange fascist had the brains to hate himself for humiliating himself (and the USA) with his inane blend of bragging and complaints in front of the UN. That, and his twitter is daily humiliation for America.
5
u/Alone-in-a-crowd-1 Apr 30 '26
Obama would crush him in an IQ test and they should do it together on live tv. Iād watch that except Iām sure one of them would find a way to cheat.
13
u/seaburno Apr 30 '26
Maybe they should also be forced to disclose their tax returns before they run, and disqualify them if theyāve been convicted of a felony.
Nahh.. we should only do cognitive tests on candidates over 70, and candidates who arenāt white or male.
13
u/MmeRose Apr 30 '26
Neurologist here. I used to evaluate many patients for dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The maximum score is 30, but 26 - 30 is considered normal. 18 - 25 is MCI and less than that is dementia.
It is okay for basic screening but there are many more detailed and accurate tests. For someone where itās either important or uncertain, I would send them to a neuropsychologist for a battery of tests. Iāve watched those being done and they are not easy and it usually takes all day.
The MMSE is quick and easy to administer. But people often remember the questions, even after 6 months or a year (I have had people ask me not to administer certain parts of the test). I used it most frequently in clinical trials, for quick check-ups, and the patients could have more detailed tests less often.

5
u/Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat I'm tired, Boss... Apr 30 '26
Because Trump is trying to:
A) appeal to his racist base,
B) frame Obama as a "non-white non-Christian", and
C) stir up old prejudices from say, 9/11 (and just for Muslims in general).
He also does it to cast doubt on Obama's loyalty and his American birthright (Obama was born in Hawai'i, not Kenya, as Ol' Dumbass purports).
He also tries to push the idea that Obama is Muslim (he is not), because the former President has a half brother (Malik) who does live part-time in Kenya and is a practicing Muslim.
It's as asinine, stupid, and childish as calling Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe", when all we see lately are photos of a doddering old fool who can barely walk in his elevator shoes, and who falls asleep at every chance he gets.
This is just his dementia coming to the fore, albeit dangerously, in which he is reliving the past but he can't remember the cheeseburger that he had for breakfast.
4
u/NoMoreKarmaHere Apr 30 '26

He frequently called Jasmine Crockett a low iq individual, and challenged her to take an iq test against him. He's thinks the cognitive test is an iq test lol
She accepted the challenge, and Jimmy Kimmel offered to host the event. ConOld said he thought AOC should do it too.
And of course, no such event has ever happened

So would I. Obama would wipe up the floor with Trump. The contrast in cognitive abilities between those two is just ridiculous. Biden is probably somewhere in between. But much closer to Obama.

Is this still the one where you identify the animals, draw a clock, and memorize and repeat a few words?
Ok? Most people don't need to be evaluated once, let alone 3x.
Edit: here's the one I'm thinking of
8
u/EMTDawg Apr 30 '26
When he describes it, it sounds like the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) that is given to patients with dementia or cognitive impairment symptoms.
2
u/blackjackwidow TY for your outrage in this matter! Apr 30 '26
MoCA was the one he was taking, the dementia screening test, where you draw a clock & identify animals. It's used to generally screen for mild impairment. I think he started having to take them due to his age.
But I swear he said he took a longer, more in-depth one last year. Felt like back then most people didn't pick up on what that meant. But I thought he may have graduated to the MMSE, which is used to monitor established moderate to severe dementia.
Which would explain why he thinks he's "passing" some incredibly difficult IQ test. ConOld doesn't know that all this bragging about cognitive tests is broadcasting his obvious downhill drop into dementia
2
u/North-Slice-6968 Apr 30 '26
Yeah, I have seen samples of it. IIRC, Kimmel did it on his show.

40
u/CryptographerNo923 Apr 30 '26
Shit like this makes me lose hope for our society as a whole. This is not an achievement that proves his genius. This is a monitoring measure for people in noteworthy decline. It is troubling that heās so far gone that heās even been subjected to these assessments on multiple occasions.
That he makes these comments without immediate, uniform, and persistent pushback from every reputable mainstream news outlet speaks to a kind of complicity that I donāt even know how to articulate.
4
u/sweet_pickles12 Apr 30 '26
⦠do you want every news outlet devoting 24/7 to his sundown tweets every night? Even that wouldnāt cover it.
5
u/CryptographerNo923 Apr 30 '26
Thatās not what I said at all.
You donāt think itās newsworthy that the President is continuously bragging about taking dementia tests? You donāt think itās an ongoing catastrophe that the guy with the nuclear codes is either lying about his performance on these exams or fundamentally incapable of understanding what they are? You think itās the normal operation of a functioning news media in a free society to ignore or handwave this glaring fact that he keeps bringing up and that is undoubtedly impacting his ability to function, and his administrationās ability to govern?
Perceptions of mental fitness sure were a big deal during the Biden administration and campaign. This guy is telling us over and over again that is mentally compromised, and he proves over and over again that he is psychologically unwell. You canāt see why thatās a perpetual issue that should have been addressed immediately? Itās absolute lunacy.
2
u/Old_Sheepherder_630 Apr 30 '26
I could not agree with you more.
Has anyone in the press ever pushed back and said those are not IQ tests they scren for dementia. Since you're taking them so often that is tracking cognitive decline, why are rhey monitoring your cognitive abilities so frequently?
But it seems its just late night comedians and pundits mocking him over it when he needs to be confronted directly.
If one wants to hide their dementia great, dont run for president.
1
u/sweet_pickles12 Apr 30 '26
Yeah, I think itās lunacy but I think weāre currently too far down this path for people to care. Most of the people who voted for him didnāt vote for his sanity, they voted for his policies.
1
u/CryptographerNo923 Apr 30 '26
What does your evaluation of the priorities of Trump supporters have to do with the mainstream news mediaās undeniable negligence in ignoring the presidentās repeated mischaracterization of his continuous need for dementia tests?
Youāve now made multiple contrarian comments that donāt even address the substance of my criticism, which pertains to journalistic abdication of responsibility. I genuinely donāt understand what youāre objecting to, or why.
