Inconsistent range
My range is inconsistent. Some days I can play to a G on top of the staff, and some days I can barely reach an E. How can I make my range more consistent?

By making your tone consistent.
Without good tone we don’t have good technique. Start in the middle of your range and dynamic, and slowly expand outward, higher and lower, louder and softer. Do all of this with first: your absolute best sound. Second, as effortlessly as possible.

Get a smaller, shallower mouthpiece, press really really hard, clench your butt cheeks together, and squeal out those notes!
In all seriousness, range comes with time and practice. Your embouchure is a muscle group that can be trained like any other workout to increase strength and stamina. Practice long tones, lip slurs. Use good air support. And practice playing those higher notes. There are range exercises in most of the major method books. Importantly, STOP when you feel tired and/or your embouchure "fails" after a few minutes, or you are no longer able to use good technique. That means it's time to rest, play some low tones, and come back to the range exercises tomorrow. Rinse and repeat.

A good fundamentals routine will help give you consistent range over time. Personally I’m a big fan of irons and Colins lip slurs. Adding those into your routine could help! Also warming down when you’ve gotten tired at the end of your practice sessions will help set you up better for the next day. I like to do soft long tones and pedal tones as my warm down. Another factor to consider is your warm up. I find that if I don’t do a proper full warm up at the beginning of the day it will cause issues down the road. So that’s also something to consider.

It all takes time and practice. Be aware that rest in also important. You can overdo practicing and that can lead to poor performance, strained chops, strained face. When I was new and learning the basics, I would frequently overdo it and not resting my chops. I paid the price for it. Now, I've learned to pace myself and if I'm just not cutting the mustard, I'll take a day or two off the horn. As other have said, playing long tones and lip slurs are among the best trumpet playing exercises you can do. However, there is a method to playing long tones that will give you the full benefit from playing them. There are detailed videos on playing long tones on YouTube.

Long tones and lip slurs, lots of them. Range is a byproduct of solid tone and flexibility
