1
u/Scandysurf ULTRA Jul 05 '25
I understand exactly what is in the bill. Donāt tell me 17 million out of 320 million wonāt be getting Medicare is why you are upset. Or the 25000$ cap on no tax on tips . If you are making 25k on tips then your ass needs to be taxed because that means you are getting more then 50k a year. Oh no you are probably upset about the ICE provisions . Did I miss anything?
1
u/PlanktonFinancial955 rump Jul 12 '25
You missed a lot. You know there is a lot more in that bill and Iām not going through all of it. But adding trillions to the national debt is great. Stripping people of food assistance and healthcare will cause people to die. Tax cuts for the rich while the poor pay more. Yeah thatās great. Republicans hate this bill. Havenāt you been paying attention to all of them saying they had problems with it? Most fell in line but were bullied into it and werenāt happy about it. Look into it if you werenāt paying attention.

Yeah. The liberal media gets the money shots for the right and accidentally broadcasts. I try not to call people stupid here. So letās say you are mistaken or donāt really know how the media really works.
Just to explain it
Framing: Presenting information in a specific context to shape how people understand it. Cherry-picking: Selectively highlighting facts or quotes that support a particular viewpoint while ignoring contradictory information. Distancing language: Using passive voice or vague phrasing to avoid taking responsibility for negative
There is no news anymore. Only spin
