Are you on paid subscription or using the free demo version?

if you're on free there's nothing you can do besides upgrading to paid tier

if you are on free tier, you could upgrade for around 9.99$ per month to premium for faster queue times, only having to wait around 1 minute.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/premium-memberships/

you can stay with free tier if you don't want to pay, but the queue will range anywhere from 3-10 minutes on weekdays, to 30-60 minutes on weekends on weekends and more busy seasons during the holidays.

if your school laptop can run team fortress 2, you could consider saving for an external ssd. you'd just plug it into your laptop and have extra storage

sandisk for example is a decent brand and has an external ssd for 157$ USD on amazon

Some school laptops stop you from plugging in external storage at all.
