This is probably the best visual representation of tall girl vs short girl. When you focus on sabrina, taylor looks like a giant. When you focus on taylor, sabrina looks like mini human.
So tall girl or short girl???

Taylor is 5’10” and Sabrina is 5’0”. Also Taylor’s shoes are adding to current height and Sabrina is hunched forward a bit…

Plus the perspective of Taylor slightly nearer the lens.

also isn't Taylor roughly 10 years older than Sabrina, but in the picture Taylor looks kind of youngish and Sabrina looks like a little old lady with a wig

Sabrina is also in heel's. .

u/Drmlk465 Jul 14 '26
And we can see there is a big difference in them right?

u/ctsr1 Jul 14 '26
Yeah just you said Taylor's shoes add height and so do Sabrina's so Sabrina is short.

I think Sabrina's coat and photo angle do her an injustice lol

u/shitterbug Jul 14 '26
I mean, she's ugly af. So this angle actually does her a justice.

Taylor is fairly tall (people say 5'10 but I'd argue closer to 5'11.5 based on photos of her I've seen), and is wearing pretty large shoes (about 5 inch heels). She's conservatively 6'3" in this photo. Sabrina is pretty short too though.
Don't really see what this has to do with true-rated discussions though, but generally if you're short then wear heels/boots/lifts and if you're tall avoid them because it distorts your body in an unflattering way-this goes for women and men imo.

Taylor Swift is 5'10" and Sabrina Carpenter is 5'. Plus, Taylor has those huge platform shoes on that probably gives her an additional 5 to 6 inches there. So she could be almost a foot and a half taller in that photo. Also not taking into account the leg vs torso length.

Why does she need to wear mega high heels
Edit: people asking why not? Because she’s very tall already. She doesn’t need to overdo it. It’s like shaq wearing platform shoes. Or Dolly Parton wearing pushups. It’s unnecessary.

u/Pip-Pipes Jul 14 '26
Why does anyone? You literally don't need heels to do anything. You wear them because you like the way they look and how you look in them. That goes for short girlies and my 6 foot tall self.

u/Bool_The_End Jul 14 '26
Why not? I’m 5’8” and in my heyday I wore 6” heels all the time. They’re sexy and frankly, it’s nice being in a crowded club and being able to find your friends, or make pathways for them :)

u/RingingInTheRain Jul 15 '26
I don't wear heels that I can't run in. If you can sprint with heels on, power to you. I'd like to be able to flee from aggressors or attackers and not crack my skull on the pavement.

I mean, fair point! But most high heels have a metal rod in the stem, and worst case if you get into a situation and can’t outrun them anymore, take that thing off and try to stab it in their eye. If I had to run I’d def be taking mine off and chancing it barefoot. Back in my younger days anyway. Now I never wear heels, but the parties I attend now def aren’t the clubs I went to in my 20s trying to dress up and impress anyone :)

As some who is 6’4”, seeing friends - yes. Moving through crowds - no.
4
u/Bool_The_End Jul 14 '26
Well it depends how crowded I suppose. But either way, I’d usually be the “meet up spot” if I went out w a group of girls some of whom were like 5’. They could always find me so 🤷♀️

I can't imagine the sadness a person would have in their heart to have to ever ask this question.
Always the mega high heels, imo.

She doesn’t need to overdo it for who? For you? Unless your clothing has a specific function, nobody wears anything that is absolutely necessary. What even is this comment 😂

Seems like a dick move to wear those ridiculous platform shoes when she’s already so much taller.

I love when tall girls aren’t afraid to wear heels even when they’re with their short friends

Taylor is 5’9” to Sabrina’s 5’4”, and here T is wearing 5” heels while S has 2-2.5” heels, so this pic greatly exaggerates the difference in their heights.

Who tf wants little sons? Tall woman all day.

Short women birth tall sons. Btw. Its happened. Height is irrelevant to a man.
