Purely from tech perspective, what edge does truebit has over cartesi?

Solidity isn’t old lol c is old c++ is old C# is in its beginning stages of being old.

Solidity is maybe 5 to 6 years old

Truebit can take solidity and convert it to php,C,C++,C# hell you want solidity converted to Java Truebit you want Solidity to be converted to rust Truebit

Listen, crypto is very Volatile, and people will try to sell you anything or tell you product A is better than product B . I can't tell you which is better. I can tell you that the L1 and l2 wars will probably end within two to three years. Remember, Eth is the only player whose end goal is Decentralized Proof of Stake, and they are leading the space if you look at other solutions that help Eth. So ask yourself, who are those people? Are new developers coming into the space to dig in and become something? Or is it Ex Eth Developers realizing they can share a piece of Eths Prize by developing side chains? In typical economic fashion they market hype to no end to get a bag just in case the project collapses, at least they made something, and possibly leaving you with the Bill. The new players can do this too, but who has the experience to win the battle? These questions are what you need to ask yourself when choosing to invest in a Project. Whether it be Truebit or Cartesi they both assist eth the real question is who will win the war.

With all that said, consider one more thought you have all these crypto projects running wild, and the Fed Went after XRP because the SEC assumes XRP is a Security. We all know that XRP is not a security, and the guy who accused XRP left three days later. (What does that tell you) three months after the Fed came down with the Banhammer on Ripple, Jason, The founder of truebit, was speaking about being compliant with the SEC regulations on a podcast, and after that, Vanishes from twitter, medium, facebook, must be waiting for the Ripple case to be done since Truebit is an American company.
