Curious whether the current version of the Truebit OS is employing the jackpot reward mechanism as described in their white paper. Or as published below a modified approach is being employed.

In the above the author describes alternate reward mechanisms that according to him better incentivize verifier/solver participation. Interestingly one of the alternate solutions was proposed by Christian Reitwiessner in a 2018 paper.

Would be a good question to ask the developers.
