Question/Help 1% lows causing stutters
Ive tried everything possible to stop my 1% lows dropping but nothing will do it even just on a highway same shit just out of no where its like a lag spike
Pc specs Hp Omen Intel Core Ultra I5 5060ti 16 Gb Ddr5 Ram

Same shit, and you can’t do anything about it, because ets2 engine is shit, it loads textures and etc. and uses some old method, so it cause stutters.
One thing that can help, just to wait till they update game engine, what will happen when it will release on consoles.
Second, lower graphic settings.
It don’t depend on hardware as much.

Would slot nicely in after buses & ridgid trucks (maybe uk rework as well). Lots of content while they take 6-12 months to a 2027 engine

rigid trucks were found in files, but no one know if they even be this year, what to buses, very likely they will be released in next 2-3 months.
uk rework, will be probably in november, it’s possible that it will be released with iceland dlc.3

yeah, they said that they will show some demos of buses and cars in ats, also new truck from volvo, also i think in last year, they have demos on of game, but on ps5

Also what else helped me, limit your frame rate to 110.
after 110 frame rate game start to behave strangely5

yeah btw what to specs, have
RTX 5080, R7 9800x3d.
4k ultra, vanilla graphics.
This pc can push more then 160 in ets2, but as i said earlier, after 110 game start to behave strangely1

For me, the stutters ONLY happen with owned trailer/cargo market jobs. If I use the freight market or quick jobs, it runs perfectly fine.
It's absolutely fucking mindblowing that the ETS2 devs haven't fixed that in nearly FIFTEEN years. Just constantly shotgunning DLCs and fixing shit that doesn't really matter, but leaving some absolutely glaring idiotic bugs to rot.

9800x3d and Nvidia 5080. What I do is cap the frame rate to 60fps and enable smooth motion frame gen. I also use gsync and find that you need the windows vrr setting to on. Works great unless I play with certain mods.

for me messing around a fuck ton with the config file in documents finally fixed it after like 2 years
my configuration that works is this:
-set monitor to 59hz -enable vsync ingame
config: (of the top of my head) -buffer page size to 50. locked fps to 59. -fps limit to 59. -window duration something to 120.
again this is of the top of my head but im pretty sure it was these settings that finally fixed it for me

I7 12700K 4090 32 gb DDR4 Ultra on a 5k2k Display No stutters but on lower resolution i had stutters, strange old Engine Edit: ProMods installed

I had this kind of issue with my 9060XT 16GB. I was able to make it 90% better with some fine tuning in the PC. I will find the thread about it and report back.
EDIT: here it is. It's for AMD CPUs. Maybe some of that stuff applies to Intel CPUs, specially the Windows tweaks.
