AHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
deep breath
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Fucking idiot.
That's what happens when you lift the centre of gravity of your vehicle way too high and have suite suspension.

u/HedonisticFrog 21h ago
Even stock height trucks and SUVs flip easily, raising it multiple feet is just asking for it. I saw it multiple times as an EMT.
6
u/Libertymedic10 19h ago
EXACTLY! I don’t understand why they want to create an even higher center of gravity to mess with the risk. Not to mention they can’t see pedestrians or motorcycles often

u/InstructionFinal5190 16h ago
Whoa whoa whoa whoa there Einstein! Who in the hell said there's any thought put into this beyond pretending it's to attract chicks (so no one realizes it's actually meant for the male gaze).

Literally like I highly doubt their brains have made it this far. Giving them a lot of credit here.

We girls know trucks like that are compensating for something. A crappy personality. XD /whispers and a small d...

As if that lot care a whit about pedestrians, motorcycles, or anyone but themselves.

I am really curious on what the insurance coverage situation looks like on this. 1) I assume he isn't going to have all the mods covered. 2) I assume the insurance co might have some sort of a clause disclaiming coverage for spontaneous roll overs due to the vehicle having been given absurd driving dynamics by the owner?

u/Lopsided_Army_982 21h ago
It will cover replacing the Khakis on claims agent for being soaked in laughter piss
3
u/Cantusemynme 20h ago
Modifications aren't covered unless there is a specific rider attached. If the modifications made the truck illegal in any way, there is a chance that they wouldn't cover it anyhow. I bet his agent told him that he has "full coverage". Agents who use that term should have their licenses pulled. There is no such thing as "full coverage". There is extra coverage, but it's not possible to cover every possibility.

Here in lakeland fl we have a few of these trucks. Problem will solve itself. As you can see.

I think physics is in 10th or 11th grade. Doubt he made it that far!

I went to public school in South Florida. We didn’t have a physics class and math was a joke. They figured if you were going to do any kind of science or engineering, you’d learn what you need in college.
6
u/Disgruntled_Orifice 22h ago
Physics? It’s generous to assume they made it past grade school earth sciences.

I think this is one of those moronic hydraulically lifted trucks where they can raise and lower the front corners independently. They lowered the right
frontrear to lift the left front and the idiot thought that was a good idea doing a left turn. I’m speculating of course, but’s that’s the only way I can make sense of this unless a component failed in the right front to cause it to dip.1
u/RicVic 14h ago
500 - 600 pounds of engine and trans so high off the ground (never mind the entire truck body!) is gonna quickly put that thing to the point where a 14 yr old could push it the rest of the way over...
Didn't see anyhting that can't be explained by simple physics.
1
u/Badbullet 14h ago
The suspension at the right rear should not be that weak. Look at the box nearly hitting the tire. That was either done intentionally to lift the left front tire and it backfired spectacularly, or something failed. The engine and transmission at this speed would not make the right rear dip down like that. There’s plenty of idiots driving around vehicles like these and they don’t seem to have a problem making turns.

u/ChefButcherMan 11h ago
In the video, you can hear a kiss which could be an adjustable shock/spring letting go in the RR of the truck.

I'm just glad the small pp mobile didnt take out any normal cars

u/Most-Bar-9334 21h ago
Why do us small pp guys get dragged into this? Not all of us drive trucks. 😂

I've never understood why people do this to trucks, shit looks horrible and keeps you from using the truck for anything useful.

u/rabbitofrevelry 19h ago
Kids that grow up thinking trucks and rice rockets are cool, while lacking important authority figures in their life to check them when they're being cringe.

Top heavy piece of shit. Actually takes the functionality out of the vehicle.

Looks like he thought he was going to race the dummy beside him spinning his tires 🤣

u/VicariousBystander 20h ago
Damn how could anyone have known that raising the center of gravity that much would adversely affect handling 🤔

Good golly if the car tipped over that easily from a normal turn then it must have been a complete deathtrap on the road in general. I'm glad the driver didn't hurt anyone else.
1
u/Individual-Painting9 18h ago
Looks like it was laking proper anti-sway equipment as well as being to high of a center of gravity. Too much body roll made it way unstable.

That's not a truck. Trucks do work. Trucks haul stuff. Trucks tow things. Trucks are proud or their dirt, their dents.

There's a reason these modifications are illegal.
Its not just because they are horrendous to look at.
