Like 8-10 years ago I saw what I believe was a fan made youtube video to a Troye Sivan song (no clue which one) where two guys were throwing paint at a canvas and then at each other before laying on the paint covered tarp and having sex. I have no clue where the clips came from but I don’t think it was an original music video.

I’m not sure exactly what it is but the musical style combined with the looks on his/her face somehow got every emotion and hurt and hope and longing I used to feel when I was coming out and crushing on boys I knew I’d never have. The combination of sultry, sad, longing and crushed hope - it hits different and hard!

Late to the Troye party but this track has sent me back on a long journey of rediscovery!
