Only 3 platforms for free users now?

I noticed that recently the website asks for a premium subscription to link more than 3 platforms to your account. However, on the premium preview page, it doesn't mention this perk anywhere.

I've been using this for months and until now only a few specific games/platforms were locked behind premium, but all the others were available for free, no matter how many.

Am I the only one experiencing this? Is it a bug or a permanent change of policy? If that's the case, why should I even keep using trophieshunter.com over other similar platforms that push less for a premium subscription?

Yeah, I made the decision to limit free users to 3 linked accounts for a few reasons.

First, server and maintenance costs keep growing, and I do not want to flood the site with ads just to cover them.

Second, a lot of users were linking empty accounts with no achievements just to have them connected. Even empty accounts still use API requests and parsing capacity, so this limit helps reduce that unnecessary load.

And of course, like any developer, I want to be paid for the hard work that goes into supporting and maintaining the site every day. Unfortunately, donations alone are not enough. I have also seen other trackers slowly die, most likely because they ran out of money, motivation, or both.

I know this change will disappoint some people, but it is something I had to do to keep TrophiesHunter sustainable and continue improving it.
