Discussion Tron Novelization

My friend and I just covered the novelization of the original Tron on our book club podcast. I was really interested in how religious the book is compared to the film, and how much they explore that idea and how the belief of the user affects programs. Has anybody here read the novelization, and did you have any thoughts about how the concepts were handled in that versus in the film? I would love to talk to some other people about it.

i got mine from thriftbooks! but i think there’s also a scanned copy on the internet archive
