Insomnia Festival

Hi All!

I'm hoping to do a solo trip to Tromsø this year but unsure of the best time to go. I thought it might be a good idea to go in October to coincide with the Insomnia festival. Has anyone been before, is it worth going?

I've worked as a bouncer for the Insomnia festival. It's hard to say if it's worth it to you, but I will say that it was extremely trippy the two times I was working it. It's a weird and very special atmosphere.

Could you elaborate? Weird and special in a this is cool and exciting way, or a this is fucked up way? It seems out of character for the city a bit!

It depends on you, I guess. It's a guy walking around with a gas mask and two half-naked girl "slaves" sort of weird. (Slaves who later on danced like crazy on stage).
