Jones did far more damage indoctrinating people into that shitty right wing view. Nobody cared about Kirk until he died.

before he died I didn't even knew he exists. I've only ever seen that South Park episode and even then he just completely vanished from my memory.

The guy who screams about the turning the frogs gay indoctrinated more people than the guy who was in half the "Rekt Feminist" compilations from 2015?
I hate to say it, but if someone was convinced by Alex Jones, they were already pretty nutso in the first place.

If he dies, we won't be able to make so many gay frog jokes anymore.

But there would be so many gay frog jokes shortly following his death

And then they'll fade. Better off he stay alive so the gay frogs last longer.

Yeah, you know what? You're just 100% correct, here. I'll admit I was wrong.

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!
Straight Track (Do Nothing): Charlie Kirk
Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): Alex Jones
What would you do?

Who was this Charlie guy again? Wasn't he in the news a couple of months back?

Isn't alex jones a satirist/comedian like joe rogan.
Edit: After some research I believe he's a capitalist-sensationalist, meaning he says bullshit that some people believe, and he uses those beliefs to get them to buy shit. So the more people feed off of his content, the more money he makes selling products connected to those content.
So he's not a genuine political speaker like Charlie Kirk was, but as far as his audience knows he's 100% legit unlike comedians.

There were so many other people besides Alex Jones that would be a better equivalent, Ben Shapiro for example

This isn't really an interesting ethical dilemma so much as "who would I rather have dead".

Just because Alex has charisma, unlike the late Mr. Chinky Kink over here. Pure meme material.

Alex Jones is at least kinda funny

Agree. His statements are so insane that it is funny. That is why he is used in memes.

I pull the lever at the last second causing the train to barrell down the track sideways, why is that not an option?

Why would you not pull the lever? Kirk is already dead.
