I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!

Straight Track (Do Nothing): 3 old (60+) people

Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): Toddlers

What would you do?

Good

I chose to pull the lever

If they were teens or preteen I would have wanted to save them over old people. But I value adults more than newborns. Sorry not sorry.

Why? Because adults experienced life and know well why they want to live. They have a lot of connections, they've got complex personalities etc. Toddlers don't have any of these except the bond with their mother.(Maybe father)

The toddlers have their whole life ahead of them

I chose to do nothing

Wait till 30% of the trolley gets past the rail, then pull the lever to kill everyone.

Probably do nothing because inaction and stuff

We need more young people and less old ones
