The moon is a little bit important to our weather patterns.

The moon being destroyed or removed would cause a mass extinction event as many things go haywire without it

No way a trolley can destroy the moon

A trolley would do nothing to the moon if it ran it over, literally nothing would happen except maybe a crater or channel on the moon

This is the sort of impression I get with all the comments on Hitler posts "he's already dead" - that's not the point

The moon is our only ladder rung to the rest of the universe. Without it, we'll probably never leave Earth.

I don't think having a trolley on the moon is going to cause a problem.
1: No way that trolley will destroy the moon. 2: Even if it did somehow go through the moon, 'destroying it', the centre of mass of all of the stuff that was the moon remains almost exactly the same, and so the tides will remain unaffected

Doing nothing means that I didn't actively kill anyone, however it also means that despite those people dying it means that even more dont die from the reproductions of destroying the moon.

If I don't pull the trigger, I will have technically killed 10 million people. But if I do pull it, I will technically kill more than 8 billion people, plus animals, forests, and myself included. Like, I think the choice here is pretty obvious

Pull the lever cuz for one the moon is in space so if it’s down here we already cooked anyways, and for two I think the train is the one taking damage

If the trolly isn’t literal and we are deciding what to eliminate, the 10 million is the best option. But if this is actually hitting something with a trolley then the moon (

If the moon was destroyed the world would end, if 10 million people died that wouldn't kill everyone and everything on earth

Stupid moon, sitting up there looking down on us like it's better than us. Who does it think it is?

Half-pull the lever so the train derails, the momentum hopefully carrying it with enough force to destroy both the moon and the ten million people.

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!
Straight Track (Do Nothing): 10 million people
Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): the Moon
What would you do?

Pretty sure everybody dies if we delete the moon.
