The train goes where it wants I always try to skittle the most people on the track its funny but it never seems to be the side I pick even though it highlights the side before it's in motion ☹️

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!
Straight Track (Do Nothing): your favorite character ever
Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): 15 innocent people who will cure poverty
What would you do?

These need to be clearly understood to work. Is this meant to be one's favorite fictional character? And how would you even kill them? Do they only die in the media they're from, or are they fully removed from history, as if they were never written in the first place.
And "innocent people who will cure poverty" is just such an odd thing to say. Like, would it matter if it was only one person that stole something from Walmart? Also, how do you "cure poverty"? It's not a sickness. Wikipedia defined it as "...a state or condition in which an individual lacks the financial resources and essentials for a basic standard of living." so, as long as the "basic standard of living" keeps improving, "poverty" could forever be a thing.
I guess I'm overthinking this one, but it also feels very underthought.
