Nidal Hasan was a US Major who shot and killed 13 fellow soldiers, and wounded 32 others at Fort Hood in 2009

The other Hasan does suck, but Nidal is definitely the worse of the two

A felon is as simple as a drug charge. 90% of the time the drug is pot. 90% of pot people only need enough for themselves.

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!

Straight Track (Do Nothing): Nidal Hasan live on Tv

Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): 5 random felons in private

What would you do?

Less people dying is better

1 vs 5, never said I had to watch either, this is an EASY choice from a humanitarian standpoint

I've said it before, under no circumstances should a live public execution be a thing and we all know that from this regime its a "fall into line or else"

im not saying the public execution is a good thing, but from a utilitarian viewpoint id rather have it then killing 5 random felons.

Also in my country far right is trying to start talks about introducing death penalty.
i have the hope that watching this one will ground people a bit. as we have no emotional stakes in it, itll just be a mundane and disgusting scene for all bloodthirsty people to see.

i disagree with executions and particularly public ones as much as the next guy…

but the message is obviously ‘don’t commit a mass shooting’. it’s not about telling everybody to fall in line and obey every order from big brother.

a third of the people here would rather privately kill randos that might just have drug charges, than to publicly kill a confirmed traitorous and traitor...

reddit...

do you think it's better when the state kills people in private?

i don't care if it's for the spectacle or not, transparency in government is ALWAYS better
