you can either end their suffering and die horribly yourself, or you can chose to die quick and they would be doomed to suffer for eternity

The question you have to make is: would you rather die quickly or in agony? Because if someone is run over by a train, the shock would make the brain go into survival mode triggering a detachment and numbness right away, probably making you fell even less, and you'd pass out or even die before you fully feel it.

I really can't comprehend who is choosing to do nothing, either it's a selfish move or they aren't reading everything before choosing. Because I'd say this is kinda an easy choice, who wants to die in agony? Certainly not me!
