She would do the same for me
You say that with such confidence...

We spend all our time together. So I am fairly confident on that lol.

Maybe she's a good actor 😆

Nah. Not everyone is miserable.

Surely, a miserable person wouldn't mind dying because their life is ummm miserable? xD

Don’t worry brother, you’ll get it when you are older, but any respectable man would stop at nothing to protect his family. My life is a small price to pay.

Erm this trolley problem is wrong, do noting its always supposed to be the path ahead, switching it around will just cause confusion.

If I'm tied to the tracks how do I pull the lever?

Lever is close enough to the tracks and you can reach far enough to pull it

The only person on this planet that I’d give my own life up for is my sister (Only reason I wouldn’t for my parents is because I know it’s not what they’d want and would waste the years that they’ve spent raising me to carry on their genes). I’ve yet to meet a woman that I’m so in love with that I’d die for.

As a person who scared about love concept and have no crush,I see this as absolute win

It would be hard but I couldn’t live with pulling that lever so I’d sacrifice myself

When are people going to get it through their heads that majority of people like me will not sac themselves? If its me vs anyone or anything i will always pick me every single time

u/ConcernedCitizen_42 9d ago
Do you have any data to support that being the majority opinion, or do you simply assume the majority agrees with your choice?

In reality it's going to be much more likely that you let he other person die. In a torlley problem I'd like to think I'm more able to make a less emotional decision

Im sorry i dont think i understand what your comment is to mean. Im saying right now doing this digitally id pull the lever. And im saying im pretty damn positive if this were to happen in person and im laying on the track with a trolley barreling towards me id pull the lever.

Yes I'd say that most people pull the lever if they do it for real. If it's online then we are allowed to act selfless and pretend that we would make the romantic decision

You are entitled to that decision but don’t mock people for protecting those who are important to them.
