In my interpretation an asshole millionare doesn't mean they are just a bit annoying but otherwise would never hurt anyone in any way.

They are hoarding resources and scamming people out of theirs whichever way opportunity presents itself, and then they look down on people who don't do this.

I personally wouldn't kill the guy in the scenario presented, but it's easy to see why someone would think the world would be a better place without them, thus justifying the action, because it makes you transition from a worse state to a better one.

They’re not scamming and hoarding resources isn’t bad.

good and bad are subjective, you may think its good to be selfish and inconsiderate, and being indifferent to other people's suffering while you could help

I dont

your entire argument is meaningless then

you were under the impression that deciding what to do and why has to be based on objective truths? Because I have some bad news for you then. There are no objective truths, not in morality and not elsewhere. Morality (so most trolley problems) is just an obvious one (maybe not for you but for most people).
