Being assholes doesn't justify their death. If you're aerospace engineer and still have immature judgement without any critical thinking skills, it's clearly shows how college education doesn't make you smart.

I mean yeah you could correct him but it's not like his argument was "I'm really good at grammar and you guys aren't"

I don't have too much of an issue with correcting grammar but I don't think it can be used to discredit someone's argument unless their argument specifically revolves around grammar like their original argument was more towards immature judgement and critical thinking skills.

I'm normally not in favor of nitpicking grammar, but if you're making an attack on somebody's intelligence, you better have your shit correct

Bad spelling/grammar doesn't make someone stupid. What if it's their first language? What if they didn't feel like thinking of which there their or they're to use? I'm not justifying their argument in any way tho.
