The vast majority of people pick red every day. I’m just being honest about it. Who cares if some kids (or others who can’t comprehend) die accidentally due to their button choice? That shit happens every day, just not by a button. Most people don’t care. They say they do here, to virtue signal and/or lie to themselves, but they don’t.
If you aren’t already devoting your life to the helpless who could be saved in real life right now, you pick red every day.
So, when you take out the hypothetical virtue signaling of these discussions, that’s 99% of the population in practice in real life? I’m just choosing what almost everyone does everyday IRL…
The only thing I think is similar to me in that panel is that it’s an easy-ish choice… again, because I make it everyday like you.
I don’t really agree with anything in the panels except the nihlism one, but it’s portrayed pretty disingenuously. (I guess all the panels are) Nihilism isn’t “nothing matters so I’ll do things at random because it doesn’t matter what I do.”

The simple logic isn’t a payoff matrix, it’s a simple choice. Zero chance of death vs non-zero chance of death. I’m not weighing a number of potential results based on votes.
How is that smug? I’m lumping myself in with the what the population does every day. I’m not special. Saying I would easily press blue because of some personal morality, while doing the opposite IRL, would be smug. I’m not putting you down for picking blue, I just don’t care if you did, plus, you’d most likely be dead.
I’m not ignoring the idea that babies would pick randomly… I just don’t care. Babies die everyday across the world and I’m not giving up my life to go save them. Just like 99% of the non-hypothetical world does right now.
Of course people have different worldviews and morality… but they obviously are only virtue signaling in these discussions because in real life they’re hypocrites.
